For sale: TRON: Legacy (LE) (Stern, 2011)

Added: September 5th, 2016 Ended: October 7th, 2016
Condition: HUO - Documented (Home Used Only)

Item description

Up for sale is my home use only Tron LE #268 out of 400. I bought it new in the box when it first came on the market and it literally has not left my basement since I unboxed it. I just finished shopping it out and it looks amazing! I stripped everything off the top side of the playfield, cleaned, polished and waxed the playfield and then cleaned each part individually and reinstalled them.

All new rubbers have been installed along with frosted natural white LED's from Comet Pinball in the GI. I've only put 4 games on it since I shopped it out. It plays nice and fast!

Colored plastic protectors are installed along with Shooter lane and scoop protectors. Black leg protectors are installed as well. It has a ColorDMD display installed along with a shaker motor. Chrome pop bumper caps with LEDs are installed also. These look really nice and compliment the chrome lock down bar and side rails.

It has the original Tron arcade cab modified with the LCD screen. I'll also include all the parts to build a Tron 3.0 cabinet with enhanced screen (I never got around to putting it together). It has a light up recognizer as well along with a DMD glare guard. The Tron LE certificate of authenticity comes in a black frame.

I'll also include a never used, complete spinning disc assembly with motor that I picked up in case I ever needed one. I'm also including the original shipping box, a set of light up flipper buttons from Coin Taker, a LED mod for the scoop and a under cab LED kit from Rock Customs. I'm including the Sony subwoofer that is sitting under the cab in the pictures as well. That really makes the house shake!

The only negative about this game is that it has a scratch by the start button which was done at the factory as it was there when I unboxed it (box was unopened or damaged). You can see this in the pictures.

Buyer pickup preferred but I would be willing to deliver up to 180 miles from Grand Rapids, MI for a fee. I would also be willing to ship if the buyer makes all the shipping arrangements.

PM me if you are interested or have any questions. Thanks!

Have played this one, and it's every bit as nice as described. Bump for a great seller and great game!

Price lowered to $10,000. Good deal on a really nice HUO Tron LE.

What!!! Is he supposed to sell it for 7000 because of that scratch. this is a true LE and 10000 for what it has on it mod wise is a great deal. even with the scratch. anyway, glwts OP

The game is junk now. He should just do this to it....

That scratch would barely be noticeable in person with the game on. It looks big in the photo only.

What's with the one coin slot?

Just do the Sharpie thing and it will never be seen again...

Nothing wrong with doing that considering Stern does it them self at the factory. All of my Stern's have factory flaws and none are prefect. Anyone who thinks theirs is isn't looking hard enough.

That scratch is hideous!

#13 2 years ago

The scratch is not that bad but I wanted to point it out. I'm motivated to sell which is why I lowered it to $10k. It's a good deal for a true HUO with lots of extras. Aside from the small scratch by the start button it's in perfect condition.

I'll even include the original box and a subwoofer.

Very true. Most people that have played it don't notice it until I point it out.

Wish I had the extra scratch for that scratch.
Nice!

If you were closer I'd try and sell my pro and upgrade to this. I'd cover that scratch in about 8 seconds and never look back.

Price lowered to $9,500. I need the $$ so it's got to go. This is a great deal on a home use only LE, especially with all the extras it includes. I can deliver to the Pinball Expo in Chicago as well. Thanks!

I've had some inquiries/offers but nobody has committed yet. Would love to sell it this weekend. PM me if you are interested. Thanks!
