I thought you were a Tron super fan, didn’t you own two at once? That mini arcade must have burned you out!

Seller in Canada. Not as extreme. Good luck. More power to you.

Good luck with the sale but for the same price someone could buy both a GZ LE and a JP LE. Price it at what you want to sell. That's up to you. Hope it works out and you can switch things up!

Sold mine for half that recently. Machine regret selling the most so far. Good luck!

Wait, no Color DMD!?

To clarify, I am not expecting to sell this for 30k.
I know the market quite well. It is priced to not sell.

What I meant to say is that my game is for takes I guess, but only if the offer is interesting enough for me to give this unit up.

I really do not have a price in mind hence the asking price.

Offer me 30k and you can have it with a bow on top, offer me 18k and it is not for sale.

For now I am not interested to sell at market, space is limited and just had other offers.

This is obviously not a fire sale nor at market either.

No need to get your panties in a bunch.

Of course now my comments are going to get dissected like a comment about a topper just did.

Not going to go into any more debates.

Amazing how quickly the conversation goes tits up

#30 11 months ago

I’m more offended that it only has 240 plays

No ColorDMD for that price? Geez

Mine sold fairly quickly 2 years ago at full price (21k). Kind of sad I received so many down votes when my pricing was apparently spot-on and I have 100% positive feedback (https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/for-sale-tron-legacy-le-249). Oh well.

Considering the rarity, market, and recent Stern price hikes, it's conceivable that 25k is possible (which isn't that far from where it's currently priced). It's a beloved license/game and some of our fellow collectors coughed up 20k for Bond60!

I’m not policing the seller and telling him he shouldn’t list it for that. I said he can try and sell it for whatever he wants.

I’m simply trying to warn any newbies on here to not spend this kind of money on a Tron LE. I don’t want someone getting burned by this guy.

People get to do whatever they want with their money! The person that bought mine for 21k was wildly successful and very wealthy. fwiw, I don't think this seller is trying to "burn" anyone. It's a highly sought after title and the market is dripping with money. He gets to price it however he wants. Warning people about bad sellers makes sense, but warning people about pricing is silly (especially since his asking isn't that crazy!, as my post above demonstrates).

I respect your opinion, but my son and I think it's one of the best games we've ever owned (out of 60-70). So different strokes, for different folks I guess. Chances are we don't like the same music either

I've owned 3 TRON's over the years...the only game I've ever owned 3 copies of (always "upgrading"). The shot difficulty, choreography, sound and light show are the magic of TRON. I like tough, short playing brutal games. Despite playing it often over the years, it still kicks my butt and keeps me coming back. Yes, the rule set isn't that deep, but that's not important to me (I have plenty of other games with deep rule sets).

Umm it’s an $18.5-20k game. I’d sell mine which has more for $18.5k all day.

Regardless of it being a make an offer scenario, anyone who’s bought some games knows the horrors of having sellers back out last minute for silly reasons.

It’s always better to do some soul searching and be as real as possible regarding its value, unless you want a bunch of tire kickers. Some people take great joy in negotiating though. I guess it all depends on how much you need the money. Me, personally, I like to conduct my business and move the fuck on to the next big thing.
