looks sweet!!! did you use a premade LED kit or did you order them all individually ?

#3 5 years ago

LEDS came this way when I got it. It's even better looking in person

#4 5 years ago

Is the gold foil missing that goes on backglass light board?

#5 5 years ago

you should have changed the LED's when you got it.

You can do that when you buy it

then it better have a heavy discount since it would have to be completely gone through and redone correctly.

Based on your expertise, I can take off .25.. Sure.

Anyone that's an professional artist or professional in lighting would be an expert in the science of illumination. White light and monochromatic. Do's and don't's. This is a textbook example of don't.

So you're an a$$hole. Thanks for clearing that up.

Your opinion is that you dont like color GI. My opinion is you should apologize to him for your behavior shitting on his for sale thread with your opinion, since you are not buying this.

I dont understand why people have to rudely tell people they dont like the led color choices. Personal taste, but not sure why people think it's ok to rudely voice what is only their opinion to others on this topic.

I prefer warm white LEDs myself, but on some games I experiment in a few areas especially the back box. Doesnt mean I trash others that do it differently. If they buy my game they can change them to purple for all I care.

Nice looking time machine. Most have a bit of wear especially around the kick back lane. Ramps look nice too.

Glwts!

Jake35 - I totally agree with your comments. Thanks.

It seems that when the price of a machine is higher than what most people expect from a certain game, they tend to pick apart everything they can. Mine is nowhere near as nice as yours, but then I didn't pay anywhere near what this one is going for. Either way, GLWTS.

I think time machine in standard condition sell for 1600-1800. This one is a bit exceptional. Most have decent wear and ramps have cracks. I think 2600 OBO is a good starting point.

Any willingness to ship Baraka?

While I prefer local sale because I want the person to play it and deliver it home safely, I'm ok to ship if necessary.

#24 5 years ago

I forgot to mention, I'm willing to trade for a Whirlwind. Maybe some other titles as well depending on what you have.

says the guy who has a shit LED explosion as his avatar. it's not an opinion. It completely ruins the purpose of the what the machine is designed for. it's designed to be played. To be able follow the ball around and play the game. when you use anything except white, it makes it difficult to impossible to play the game in any darker gameroom setting. Plus, the entire art package, is completely ruined. it's like looking at a color picture in a red photo developing room. Everything, and I mean everything will look like shit. not an opinion. Fact.

And I was actually trying to help you thread by telling you, that you would get more people interested if you did the LED's correctly. 99% of people understand and realize how important it is to have white GI's in the backbox and playfield. There are some newbs that havn't come to terms with it yet, and people on FB that don't play their games and just gaze at them from the other side of the room. That 1% really limits your buying market. You would have much more board appeal by doing them the correct way. Especially since you are asking a higher price tag.

This thread is getting weird. Bump for a beautiful time machine!

Neo LEDs are very easy to replace with any color... I agree with you that white on GI is best (I prefer warm white), but dont trash others sale threads if they dont agree. No disrespect, but everyone's entitled to their opinion and that's mine.

well, if you are going to try and sell a game. At least make it look the best it can, and at the very least playable. It is not playable at all, unless you have your games outside and it's noon and sunny out.
