Seeing a lot of "I don't really want to sell this" ads lately. If you want to ask for way, way, way above market value, all you gotta do is claim that you don't want to actually sell it and then somehow it justifies the price. I wish all these cash grab posts would cut down on the hard sell and just list the facts and the price and stop with the personal stuff.
"Yes, price is high - but this game means a lot to me & is in incredible shape & plays awesome. I’m even second guessing myself in listing it - but here it is, let’s see what happens."
Does this actually make people want to buy it? To me it's like admitting that the game is way overpriced and that the buyer would have to be really gullible to buy it. How could you feel good about buying this when the seller is telling you it's overpriced in the ad? If you're going to ask for above market value, don't tell the buyer they're an idiot for paying it. Just list the price without comment.
