People are free to try to sell their belongings for whatever price they please. I would never want to be involved in any community or society where we couldn't, or where moderators can decide what price is allowed, and which ones aren't. That's the principles of socialism. If the price is so far off, it simply won't sell. If it's reasonable, it will, and means it wasn't a problem to begin with. That's how free markets work. Regardless of whether you or I like it, or not.

Oh god, another "free market" post. FFS, it's not about that. It's about cleaning up the fucking site from all the new members with no post history trying to rip people off with eBay pricing. This can be a community of enthusiasts who (typically) help each other out, or it can be a site with a giant welcome mat for assholes like the OP who want to kick down the door and try to rip you off.

Pinside would be wise not to have their members who got them to this size become jaded with all these spam ads. If we're all gone, its just scam artists selling to no one, which ain't very sustainable.

A minimum post count and an upfront fee to post a game FS would prevent a damn good amount of these BS ads that we all know aren't selling.
