Offering up a complete and fully working Bride of Pinbot plus a brand new, not-yet-installed Buthamburg playfield. $3450 for the Machine as it sits, and $800 for the new playfield if purchased with the Machine.
You can play until you are ready to start a winter project.
Included in the long list of new parts already installed is a clear playfield protector, so the ball travel is very smooth and the machine plays nicely.
While this machine looks pretty, the playfield did get wet at some point because I saw signs of exposure to elements that I have since cleaned up. As a result of moisture, areas outside the factory Mylar have paint loss and there is a faint residual odor present in the playfield wood itself. Unfortunately I bought the machine without a playfield glass.
Ground level pick up at my house, in-person cash on the glass sale preferred. I have shipped a few machines before so if this is the only option I can accommodate within reason. Nearby delivery possible with conditions.
More details….
The machine is a reimport from Japan and was operated in the US for a few years before going into storage for the last 8-10 years.
I bought it in non-working, neglected condition. I bought it out of a non-climate controlled warehouse. I installed a rebuilt mpu, and I had the sound board and display board/displays professionally refurbished.
I stripped the playfield and installed a new mini playfield, many new plastics, posts, etc as part of an extensive shop out. I rebuilt the flippers + pop bumpers + helmet coils, re-did some of the playfield and cabinet wiring, restored the helmet, restored the backbox light board, and I added leds in many of the playfield inserts and backbox light board.
I stripped and re-decaled the apron and installed custom score and instruction cards.
I added cliffy protectors onto the ramps that were both replaced. New line cord installed.
I put on new black legs, leg bolts and levelers as well as added purple plastic leg-to-cabinet protectors. I changed out the speakers on the display panel as well as the cabinet speaker.
I stripped and painted the head and put on new head decals. I masked off the original backbox warning screening.
There are a few scratches on the main cabinet, and the picture with my finger in it attempts to point out the most notable scrape.
I refurbished the coin door. I restored or replaced all of the exterior hardware, except for the side rails. I replaced a lot of the internal metal hardware and put on new flipper buttons
Disclaimer - I thoroughly cleaned the cabinet however I believe that the moisture that got into the machine resulted in a slight musty smell that is still present in the playfield. It is not strong but when the machine is opened up and the playfield lifted up some, but not all, people might sense it.
