Quoted from Doctor6:Criminally underrated game. Top many people crap on the game without trying it. I was one of them.
When I got mine the previous owner had the pitch set way too low and he didn't adjust the flipper power correctly. It was floaty and played terrible. Also, it had the original left habitrail that was never corrected. The ball hit every cross wire on the way down and hopped over the edge constantly. I corrected all this and the game plays awesome now. So I'm pretty sure this has been a problem with games in the wild as well. It needs to be almost as steep as you can set the pitch... like 7.2 degrees. The haters never had time in a home setting on a properly set up machine. Also the early code sucked, but is awesome now! Super polished and amazing. But this is why The Hobbit is the best deal in pinball right now!
