Curious what you value this at

#3 1 year ago

Me too! I just had a high-end restore on mine so just curious. I'm sure it's worth a lot. Looking forward to see the pics

I’m thinking in the ballpark of $18,500 but I've done zero research to see what other HEP's have sold for since I'm out of town for the next week.

Where did this machine come from? Who did HEP do the restore for I mean, wasn't you or did you buy it already done?

#6 1 year ago

What year was the restore done?

#7 1 year ago

That too lol

HEP (Chris Hutchins) did the restore.

I'll need to look but I believe 2020.

I'm asking who Chris did the work for, you or someone else?

Sorry, someone else.

To facilitate discussing that project with Chris would you be willing to share who the restore was done for? Privately is 100% fine and preferred.

Is it branded with the company logo under the playfield?
If not it is at least 2012 or older.

How would you kno............ Oh.
Nevermind.

GLWS! Sounds like a great game.

Thanks for all that have reached out. I just got off the phone with Chris Hutchins (great guy). This is not a HEP machine after discussing with Chris. It was sold to me as a HEP machine but Chris basically did everything with the playfield (cleared, drilled, assembled everything) and it was placed back in the cabinet (restored). Chris did all this work in 2017 and the machine has had a handful of games since 2017. I was thinking he did it in 2020 but he confirmed it was completed in 2017.

Who did do the restore and is the list of what's new/redone accurate? What will you price it at now?

This sounds like a restoration by committee.
In 2015 I agreed to do a playfield correction and clear on a IPB playfield then build it up.
In 2017 it actually showed up.
The person sent the replacement playfield and the fully wired original.
I drilled dimpled corrected and cleared it.
Then I completely rebuilt and fully assembled it like I would one of my own projects.
I built a crate around the fully assembled playfield and shipped it back.
It was up to the owner to install it in the cabinet test and adjust since I had no way to do so.
I don’t do that type of work anymore just too much hassle but that is the history.
Definitely not a HEP game but you can have confidence in the playfield build.
