Darn Flipper Wear!

#4 3 years ago

He must be referring to the flipper button wear. But I see some shielded siderails look to be included that would cover most of that up?

This is a good deal, I would really consider it if I was closer!

"Speed holes". They make it play faster.

Nah, I like the bullet holes. But the flipper button wear is kind of killing it for me. Great price, and you don't play the cabinet, but I think I'll keep holding out and pay up for HUO. Good luck. Really good deal for someone.

$15 pair of metal lollipop covers will hide the flipper wear.

Where the crud do you get these for $15 bucks?

#11 3 years ago

Here they are for $20:

Maybe I got my sets at Allentown or York shows for $15? Could've swore I ordered them online though.

Edit: Marco is out of stock but sells them for $15.99. That's probably where I bought mine and included them in a parts order.

Yeah but I've never heard of these. Nice cheap option.

What are lollipops? One piece with the rail and button cover?

Right you are. These are the "side rail lollipops" and they furn $89.99 but are sold out. I'm also not partial to having to screw anything into the side of my cabinet.

Yeah. Your link seems easier and cheaper anyway. I'd leave the marks myself, but anyway agreed not a big deal all around

My wife and I used those half moon ones I linked to as a template to make our own covers using black contact paper type material. Needed customs ones for Sharkey's Shootout due to the extra flipper buttons on each side of the cab. Worked out well, no screw holes, and the contact paper has a light adhesive backing which is easy to peel off if needed.

I put these on my T3, and suits theme pretty well. $5 if anyone wants a set.
