For sale: Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines

Added: August 24th, 2019 Ended: August 29th, 2019
Condition: HUO - Undocumented (Home Used Only)

Item description

For Sale: An exceptionally clean, Terminator 3 - Rise Of The Machines! At the time I purchased this pin, it was represented to me as having been a HUO machine; however, I am not in possession of any written information to support the claim. The overall condition certainly does not contradict the claim, and that is all I was actually concerned with at the time.

The game, and RPG backglass feature, both function 100%, and have given me no trouble or errors during my ownership. The only minor exception to this is the settings batteries flat-out died on me recently, and the machine would no longer hold high scores or the free play setting. Rather than replace the batteries, I installed a Pinitech NVRAM, and while I was at it, also installed four new pinballs and Super-Bands on the flippers (last-week). The previous owner had already tastefully LED'd the machine (not fully), installed the red LED speaker panel back lighting, and installed factory color/textured flipper button wear protectors.

Please review the pictures for additional condition details, and don't hesitate to reach out with any questions, or if you would like to see supplementary photos with any specific detail. The condition really speaks for itself on this machine!

With the exception of using this machine as a partial trade on a HUO RBION or a nice WH2O, I am not entertaining trades at this time.

The game is located in Central Pennsylvania, just off I-80. Pickup is highly preferred, but shipping is not out of the question if the buyer makes all arraignments, and payment-in-full has cleared my account before the game leaves my possession. I can also recommend a very reasonable amusements shipper I use, and have had very-good luck with, who can usually move pins to most any door east of the Mississippi for ~$275.

Agreed, it truly is an underrated pin. Hate to see it go, but you know the story... time to change the lineup!

Nice looking game. Definitely a undervalued pin. Good bang for your buck with this title. GLWS

Quoted from PSUTownie:

Shooter wear and button guards to cover wear suggest it's had more use than a HUO machine typically would.

Pic 7 shows pretty defined ridges: starting to plank?

I can assure you that there is no playfield planking present. I also would be happy to pull the flipper-button wear-guards off and provide pics for a serious buyer. I personally don’t know what’s under there, but based on the overall condition of this machine, I would lay money there is no wear, and that they were installed preemptively.

Because of the white paint in the shooter lane, T3 would show wear early, even in a HUO game. ACDC is the same. I’ve owner both and had shooter lane wear issues with each on HUO examples.

Looks nice! GLWS
