I sold a nice one for 2300 two years ago. But then again, mine didn’t have a toy helicopter and a McFarlane figure glued onto a plastic.

I don’t know, but I shot him a PM and asked if he could fill out a form. This is what I got back. That would explain it...somewhat.

Doesn’t take away that this asshat contributes to bad things in the community. Pinside used to be a reliable price check source, for reasonable prices. Now people are listing them and they look comparable to eBay, so that is gone as well. Luckily I’ve bought “a few games” in the past, so I’m pretty aware of values.

And one thing justifies all the bashing: In these threads, the OP never comes back in to explain why his game is that pricey. Because he knows he is full of shit, and he’s a shyster.

I don’t doubt it. Probably some newb that has no idea. Especially if he lists things on craigslist like Weeze posted above.

Whoever bought it will be real surprised when they go to sell it.

I guess for some. I don’t think it’s fair to generalize. I have never offered, listed or sold any game for a high price, let alone a stupid price, or a ridiculously stupid price.

And I certainly never encourage high prices. I’m not in this hobby for the money. I’m in it because I actually enjoy it.

Given that I don’t do stupid things, I certainly don’t mind calling out people that do. Like this guy.

Unless you have a HEP restored or completely restored and chromed out T2, it is actually a $2500 game all day.

Now yours is a pristine game I would pay a pretty penny for if I wanted a T2. You might as well sell it to me, because you don’t even play it.

Please post one pic of yours so this guy can see what a $7500 plus T2...should look like.

And if he did sell this thing, maybe the buyer will stumble across this thread and see how stupid he actually was.
