With a heavy heart, I'm putting the first machine I ever bought on the market:. Terminator 2
This is a players machine. That said, it is 100% working and has been dressed up very nicely. Flippers are strong, cannon works great (and is consistent). Brand New motorcycle ramp installed (I'll throw in the old broken one as well, since where it is broken does not affect play). T2 is easily one of the best games to mod, and I've done so (tastefully).
The good:
Looks beautiful. Is very clean and has been shopped within the last year or so and cleaned/waxed recently. All coil sleeves replaced within the past couple years and limited play since. Plays fast with no errors. Cabinet had some dings/chips, but is very presentable. All lights/flashers work, boards are clean with no hacks and no acid damage. Haven't had a single board problem in the many years I've owned it. New foam pads behind all standup targets and all stand-ups are in good shape. Ramps are clean with no cracks or issues. All rubbers replaced within the past couple years.
The bad:
Playfield has some wear and touchups. Most notably a touch-up above the hot-dog flasher insert, some wear around a couple inserts and in the pops. See pictures.
There was major wear in the Skull kickout hole. This has been repaired and covered with a cliffy and works perfectly. (And you can't see it anyway while playing)
Coin door is good, but some of the wires that would run to the switches below the coin mechs (which are also missing) have been cut. In a home environment, this adds up to meaning exactly nothing. Put it on free play and enjoy.
Some broken plastics, but nothing in the lower part of the playfield and not really something I even notice. Full plastic protectors are installed to prevent any further breaks/chips.
Legs are in very good shape, but one or two of the leg bolts spin freely and as such have a nut on the inside of the cabinet to keep them secure. Easy/cheap fix if you want to spend a few bucks to replace the culprit leg brackets.
Things I've added to the game, beyond "stock":
1. Non-Ghosting LEDs in all inserts.
2. Full LED Flashers and Bulbs in the playfield GI.
3. Illuminated Shooter Lane/Rod Cover.
4. Comet Pop Bumper LED Discs
5. Mirror Blades
6. Color Changing LED Lighted Ramp Signs
7. Cliffys installed at database hole, shooter lane eject and Skull. Also have the cliffy for the top kickout hole above the pop bumpers, but haven't installed it. Will include.
8. Illuminated database hole
9. LED Light strip underneath the hunter-killer ship. Adds much needed light to the playfield and can't be seen during play.
10. Terminator with eyes that flash when you need to shoot for the motorcycle ramp.
11. Custom Instruction cards
12. Full plastic.protectors
All in, probably $700 in mods/lights alone. And STILL on the low-end.of the pinside price scale.
Comes with all the keys, and you can have my printed copy of the manual as well.
Need the space, so no trades.
Overall, a players T2, but plays great, looks.great and is very clean, happy to send additional pictures on request.
