I can speak to the touch-ups as I'm the one that did them. It's Createx paint that comes off with water. I didn't spend much time on them. I just simply brushed a few spots and then went to put the mylar down. However, when I was putting the mylar down (pre-waxed 5 times to easily remove when needed), it wasn't oriented straight so I had to re-adjust a few times. That made the paint stick to the mylar and now you can see the touchups as shown in the pictures.
All that to say, remove the mylar, and the small amount of touch-ups will come right up with a small wipe. Then the playfield is ready for whatever you'd prefer - mylar, clearcoat, wax, whatevs. That said, the playfield is in great condition. It was one of the reasons I originally purchased the game. The mylar was for temporary protection until I could shop it out. However, I found another machine that I wanted more and sold this one to PapaKilo. As mentioned previously, a solid dude from my interaction with him.
Hope that helps give anyone interested in this some peace about the mylar and touch-ups. It's a great playing machine.
