For sale: Terminator 2: Judgment Day

Added: May 9th, 2019 Re-listed: 1 time (May 30th, 2019) Ended: June 14th, 2019
Condition: Used - shows wear but 100% working and clean

Item description

For sale or trade! Pins and games Im looking for at the end of the ad.

A nice example of a previously routed players condition T2 that could be brought back to a extremely nice quality if this is a wishlist pin for you. Just looking to change up the lineup a bit.

The good; LEDs, speaker lights, T2 hinge lights, leg protectors, new hunter ship, mylar covered playfield(super fast game), new lockdown bar, new side rails and a new Rottendog board with relocated batteries.

The bad; GI repair in the backbox from when the game was routed back in the day(game works 100%), cracked right sling plastic, small cosmetic issues like touchup paint on playfield that smeared under mylar and no coin mechs.

I purchased this off a Pinsider last summer and gameplay wise all Ive had to do is adjust a cannon switch. The game works 100%. I was going to pull the mylar off and redo the touchups, clean the pf and reapply the mylar but It never caused any problems so I left it. Same goes for the GI wiring in the backbox. I listed it as a "bad" but theres nothing wrong with the game or GIs. Its just not original. I've seen a few threads pop up where old routed Williams machines have this exact quick "fix" that the owner/operator performed. It never caused any issues so I never addressed it. If there is anything else you want to see let me know and Ill take more pictures. It plays fast and smooth!

Id still be willing to trade for some games off my wishlist +/- cash. Super Mario Brothers, X Files, Congo, South Park, Haunted House. Id also be interested in some arcades, Sega Star Wars Trilogy(Stand up or Sit Down version), TMNT, The Simpsons, MK2, DDR machine...

Looks like a great deal. I really need to get that lighted speaker grill for mine, it really sets it off. GLWS

I can speak to the touch-ups as I'm the one that did them. It's Createx paint that comes off with water. I didn't spend much time on them. I just simply brushed a few spots and then went to put the mylar down. However, when I was putting the mylar down (pre-waxed 5 times to easily remove when needed), it wasn't oriented straight so I had to re-adjust a few times. That made the paint stick to the mylar and now you can see the touchups as shown in the pictures.

All that to say, remove the mylar, and the small amount of touch-ups will come right up with a small wipe. Then the playfield is ready for whatever you'd prefer - mylar, clearcoat, wax, whatevs. That said, the playfield is in great condition. It was one of the reasons I originally purchased the game. The mylar was for temporary protection until I could shop it out. However, I found another machine that I wanted more and sold this one to PapaKilo. As mentioned previously, a solid dude from my interaction with him.

Hope that helps give anyone interested in this some peace about the mylar and touch-ups. It's a great playing machine.
