This is a modified "sample-head" version of TFTC with the green hotdog inserts. The play field is in good condition. Mode hole is protected by a Cliffy. The ramps have all had spot welds professionally reinforced. The game has a new CPR plastic set installed and comes with some additional spare, unbroken plastics. Everything in the game works as it should. It is clean. The front "door-handle launch assembly" is complete and fully working. The detracting thing about the game is that the cabinet is not in perfect condition, as it was a re-import. Not an eyesore, but could use some new decals.

More add/ons mods on this machine include:
-100% Playfield inserts LEDs. (GI=incandescent)
-Head translite/insert LEDs
-Bright green LED 12V flipper buttons
-Frank Miller electric chair mod mounted over pops (his head flashes like crazy during the "electric chair mode")
-Blacklight LED under the rear playfield glass molding. This lights up both the playfield's and plastic's phosphorescent greens.
-The prototype green back-box hot-dog inserts are lit upward with bright green LEDs
-Matt Mckee foam TFTC topper installed
-Red DMD filter
-Mini chainsaw over left ramp
-Heatshrinked the bulbs above the ramps and scoop so they will not fall out.

Other stuff:
New RottenDog DMD controller board- lifetime warranty
New RottenDog power supply- lifetime warranty
Rebuilt MPU/Driver board- VERY CLEAN!

There are 3 very minor play field blemishes, visible in the pictures. Two marks under the shooter lane gate, and one mark by the "clone insert".

On my wanted list:
The Shadow
Dirty Harry
Congo
BSD
INDY 500
Fathom
Star Light
Spirit
Transformers Pro
TAF

I am not interested in selling, unless it's $2600. I add $ on trades.

NO SHIPPING!!! Pick up only!

Not cool.

Pinside should allow the authors of for sale threads to purge bs comments.

If this was closer I'd be on my way!

#14 8 years ago

Nice looking pin. One of the best bang for your buck pins around.

Life advice from another Pinsider: don't be a dick.

#16 8 years ago

Tales from the Crypt is still my all time favorite pinball. I can't get enough of how much awesomeness is packed into this game, from the 6 ball multi balls to the shaker motor, the gory DMD graphics and killer art package... We're lucky we can even get this title for under $3000, it's a fantastic buy!

And if you haven't already, I highly encourage everyone to checkout http://pinballcode.com for the code update thanks to ChadH and be sure to make a donation to keep him motivated because the TFTC code update is wickedly insane!

Good luck with the sale! I would be a serious contender but I already have one so somebody else deserves to enjoy this one.

I've never felt the need to down vote someone on here until now.....and there is some crap people say!! But wow dude pinball opinions aside (yes you are entitled to them) this is just a for sale thread....let the fellow pinsider sell his machine with no angst.

If anything.....bump it!!

TheRealSamHarvey is a new account as of today, with the above ignorance being their only post. The coward doesn't even have the balls to use their regular account to post here.

Hmmm, something weird here. This guy just created an account today (10/23/15) and this is the only thread he has posted in? Sounds like someone might have just made the account to say something as douchebag as this to cover up his real pinside identity. Mods should look at the IP source to determine if there is a match.

I've owned two TFTC's and would own again in the future. It's a guilty pleasure game for me and probably the goriest machine ever produced (until rob zombie starts shipping, I presume.)
