Quoted from Haymaker:

I'm just here to laugh at the boomers who don't understand what supreme is.

You'll have to come up with a better own on the boomers than "to understand being retarded you have to become retarded". It would be like me who is Gen-X trying to defend the pet rock.

#102 55 days ago

Thank god we have Haymaker here to patronise……ah I mean educate
.. all us Gen X and Boomers on what all the hip youngsters are into these days. If not for him I would have no idea what Pookeeman and Subprime was all about.

Quoted from Haymaker:

I'm just here to laugh at the boomers who don't understand what supreme is. Kudos to the ones here that get it and also realizing supreme isn't the hype beast lure that it was a few years ago. I know it makes some people mad but the game IS worth a lot of money. I think as supreme continues to fall out of fashion the value will decrease but it'll always be an exclusive item. I doubt OP expects to get 80k but it's the kind of game that you just gotta find somebody to make you the "right" offer. Pinside has never been the proper place to sell this game though.
I just wonder if in 30 years original supreme stuff will make a huge comeback as a collectible. If that happens, the value of this game will go right back to astronomical levels.

People though Beenie Babies would be worth a lot too...now they're worthless

if this was made in the 90’s, what would it be?

Quoted from jarjarisgod:

I was today years old when I first heard of Supreme… And I’m in my 40’s.

Can't imagine there's many on Pinside that would fault you for that.

It may have been when the game initially came out for me (or a comment in a music video about a $40k trunk), and shaking my head when looking up videos of collectors that could hardly put a sentence together, showing off overpriced bricks, hammers, etc.

I've never been in touch with the "hype-beast" realm ($1k+ sneakers, etc.).

Yet alas, ~99% of the world likely looks at pinball collectors the same way

buying this maxes out your rizz levels..

I was almost pulling the trigger but I am out, because you wrapped your machine in plastic foil. WTF?
If you wrap wood and electronics airtight i suppose you always include some moisture within the box unless you pull vacuum before doing that.
If temperature drops after wrapping you can get condensation inside and then ugly things can happen...
I hope you did that on a cold day at least... Please unwrap

As a borderline Xennial, I find this sale both completely stupid and completely fair.

Good luck with sale!

Well I didn't wrap the machine but just the top of the package because customs have opened it. And it's not airtight of course.

Sydney's weather is always hovering around 15-30 degrees and hardly has a humid day like other cities. So I'm pretty sure it still looks like just rolling off from factory line.

Does it include the balls?

God bless this game. What a special specimen of modern physics.
Supreme knows what they are doing. They are beyond their years in wisdom.
All praise king Supreme and their blessed pinball machine.
May those who yearn for one obtain one.
$1 Million by Christmas.

One went at Auction via Christies for 32k;

https://onlineonly.christies.com/s/handbags-x-hype/stern-pinball-machine-274/78593

Think about it this way....This home edition rebranded as SUPREME is worth more than any Stern LE with topper.

It might be crazy in the end, but what do you think the average person would say if they found out someone paid $2000 for a topper? Probably not much different than people laughing at this guy for trying to get 80k, which seems a bit much. Even if he gets 25k this 'stern pro' has proven to be the best investment in the history of Stern pinball it seems

These guys paid 50k for theirs and made a video about it;

I think the machine looks cool af, I love it. But I haven't hopped on a trend in over 40 years, not starting now.

Really. When was that? Not $80k

And stupid doesn’t count.

If you would like to google the two EJCE signed auction pins and what they went for.

By comparison. Nobody Gives a F

Always cracks me up when people here try to argue what is worth money or not. Like the hobby is full of wise, discerning spending. $25000, $50000, or $80000 what difference does it make? It's all stupid but that's the luxury/brand market.

I have $25000. Want to trade me for $80000?

I know of a guy with a pile of rotted, rusted, filthy Varkon parts. Wanna trade him for $6,700?
