I have come to the realization that games are more expensive and at my age that I'd rather 'pay too much' and get a game I want rather than find the best deal that might be on a game I don't want as much.

I was thinking about Stranger Things, was impressed with the projector and UV light but to me the shots weren't interesting enough (the major toy was the Demogorgon shot which is not my favorite) and I gravitated to BM66 and finding that they are hard to find and expensive, like a nice premium with mods at $9K.

practically no one says BM66 has great shots or a great layout. BM66 is all about the code. the layout is pretty bad. STh shoots much better than BM66.

I know of a handful that have went for 12k no problem the last 6 months.

it would be gone if I owned one. there is not a pinball machine I would not sell instantly if I could make $5k or $6k profit.

Yep. I got offers at 12k to ship, but I don’t do that. If someone shows up with that to my house, it’s theirs. Haha

None of you have any love for the GOTG at 14,500? At least that one is settled on a price. It started at 7500 six hours ago, went to 10k, then 13k and now 14.5k.

im the same way. people get mad at me but i only do deals in person. I want them to see and play the game and attest to it being in good shape.

I’m both appalled by the price but also very much want this. I’d probably pay 9.5 for it. I mean I personally won’t, but I would if I weren’t poor and had the space and lived free of judgement from my girlfriend.

$13k is an LE price but Prems are def going in the $8000-$9000 range with UV and topper easy. I paid $6500 for my Prem including UV with 287 plays on it when everyone (except chuckwurt ) hated it back in early 2020. It’s worth the price increase IMO.

Throw it out there for 15-16k. I was thinking something similar with my Deadpool LE when a premium sold high recently. I should toss my LE out for 15k. It only has just over 100 plays maybe someone would bite lol.

Except this one isn't a standard Premium. It's had the "Refinery" treatment, putting it on the level of an LE easy.

Also, you're right on no one wanting it back then. Saw a Premium sitting with a local dealer priced at $7k, with less than 10 plays, and it took over 6 months to finally sell.

All the “refinery treatment “ things can be readily duplicated on A NIB machine for far less than his asking price. LE prices are also crazy but at least there is some basis for it other than paying (and eventually losing) a premium to get a machine sooner.
