It isn't that crazy of a price. I have this pin (no topper) and have been offered as high as 12k on Pinside when I mentioned it might be going up for sale in the owners club. The art package is pretty rare. I do like it and decided not to part with it at this time.
Mandalorian owners want the Comic Premium SW in a bad way because it is drawn by the same guy (Randy Martinez). Randy is an actual Lucas illustrator which is a huge plus for Star Wars fans. Factor in the fact there is only a few hundred Comic Premiums and thousands of Mandalorian / Star Wars owners who are a little obsessed with creating their perfect pair of Star Wars pins. That is why these are selling at a premium. I’m not sure the market is at his asking price yet but I don’t hate the guy for trying.
