I sell coins for a living and most of us have switched to using the acronym “MS” for “mint state”.
Rarely do we use “mint” as a singular word unless as a descriptive for chewing gum.

In many hobbies I've seen the term "mint." Not just coins.

Mint is not a good description for a complexity like a pinball machine. That's all I am saying. People can say whatever they want. But IMHO in an ad to sell a machine, descriptive words like "Collector Quality" Get my attention.
