For sale is my very nice SST. It plays 100% and looks great. Left sling plastic has a chip in it.

As long as you pay first!

Haha. House is in a state of disrepair. Moved all of the games from the (incorrectly finished) basement to the finished attached garage. It is heated and cooled so that is now the game room. The basement will be the kids play room. If I had not spent >$4k this month alone I could probably convince her. Basement is expensive. So have an obligatory GLWTS!

#7 8 years ago

I am surprised this is still here! Great game and great price.

#8 8 years ago

I would buy this if you were even a little bit local. I miss mine

#9 8 years ago

Very tempting. I'll have to see if I can get someone to help me make the 5 hour drive out to get it.

#10 8 years ago

Lots of interest but not gone yet

#11 8 years ago

seriously... how the heck is this not already sold?

Appears to be in nice condition and one of the nicer cabs I have seen on a SST. Last one of this caliber sold for 2100 in about an hour.

Do people not know the game or how fun it is? Check it out on Pinball Arcade to read the ruleset.
One of the coolest 3rd flippers in any game and different style of play. Simple and FAST game! Great flow!

Pretty decent video if you want an overview.

I know, right? Holiday travel seems to have put a damper on it. I have a couple of buyers that want it but need me to drive part way. Nobody has time to drive right now, including me

#13 8 years ago

Yeah, unless it is enroute for holiday travel, not much pinball pickup will be happening this week

Curious, are you getting rid of this for more space (i.e. more GTB 80B games ) ?

SST is nest on my shop out cue (well that or JD) and looking forward to getting mine pimped out. This era of Sega are unique in a really good way!

It's a really cool game. I was going to keep it but I picked up a surprise TZ last week, so I sold Diner and am selling SST to pay myself back. Those 2 machines will almost cover what I paid for the TZ. It's my 4th one, I figured I should finally keep it! That is, unless someone has a super cool trade in mind...

#15 8 years ago

Bump for herbertbsharp, a cool dude. SST is awesome and mine will probably never leave.

#16 8 years ago

lol...

Nice score on the TZ. You and I seem to have scarily similar taste in games. I am going to start looking at your collection whenever I am thinking of seeking out a new game...

Seriously! I noticed that too a while back

So IMO you should seak out Baywatch, Stargate, a Bally 6083 (Atlantis, D&D, Special Force, etc...), and something classic like a Paragon, Centaur, etc IF you are looking for other games yuo may like.

Any suggestions for me?

I'd really like to get another Baywatch. For suggestions I'd say maybe LAH, Transporter the Rescue and Bone Busters

#20 8 years ago

Transporter and BB are def on the list!

thanks!

I have not been on YouTube in so long I forgot I shot some pinball videos. Usually delirious at 3am with tons of rambling. It seemed a good idea at the time.

SST is ok, I don't miss it much. The theme is awesome and it's fun in small doses. Doesn't hold a candle to Baywatch or MSF, but one of the better Segas. The sound of the bugs is extremely grating and is what motivated me to let it go.

That said a lot of games from this era look better all the time with how lacking and cheap the most recent Stern pros have been lately, GOT and Kiss specifically. $5000 for a kickback and three drop targets NIB or SST with a pop up bash toy, moving ball lock and magnet diverter.

#22 8 years ago

SST also has some seriously polished geometry. The only other fan layout this good (for this price) is T2...and it isn't this good.

#23 8 years ago

One of the top 3 "bang for your buck" pins out there (IMHO).

#24 8 years ago

almost sold 2 times, still available

#25 8 years ago

Looks awesome! One day, when I have a bigger house...

Interested to see what your next pin will be.

I just helped buy SST for a newbie friend as his first pin and he and his family has played the crap out of it. Great value. GLWTS!

SST is a tough sell. Probably because of the way it looks. It's not a nice looking game. I personally like SST, but man it was hard to sell.

#29 8 years ago

this would look great under someone's tree!

#30 8 years ago

that would be a big tree. Someone can give it to me for xmas.
