I really am likely to just keep it, but I have a policy of putting a price on each game in the home lineup
how many Star Wars de are f/s on pinside?
what is avail. on ebay under 5k?
can anyone show/link any nice ones f/s nationally at 3k, 3.5k or 4k?

Just bought one three weeks ago sub 3k with Cliffy's, LED's, and near perfect playfield. Only knocks were that it had a broken drop target(now replaced), a couple minor scratches on cabinet(although colors are rich), one nick on the right backbox, and no topper. Rather than look at the for sale pricing on Ebay, maybe you should check out the sold ads for the amount something was actually purchased? Or, you could also check out the following link for the most recent sales of a pin.

Anyway,

Very true. Gotta pay for the overhead when buying retail.

just wondering since there is some "to high of a price police" here,
is there also some "to low of a price police" here also?
I was just wondering where they were when a few mo. ago I sold (to a pinside member) a Marilyn taxi for 600 and a high speed for 600 (projects)
and I am about to post 2 black holes at 800 ea is that to low?

For project games, these prices might also be TOO high.

Huzzah! Gold star for you.

If you get David Hasslehoff's autograph, I know a guy in Minot, ND that is very interested.

Robin needs to add an unbump or deflate button that moves a post to the bottom.

Condition is everything. I would have bought the taxi for more or less than 600 depending on what it needed. I bought a working Black Hole for 750 recently so I think you are in line for that. I am out on the DE star wars for 5 grand. If pricing something high imo just don't make a forum post. I have never seen someone make a forum post to police a market add. Once you create a post to discuss your ad, you improve visibility of said ad and open yourself up to scrutiny. Sell for what you want, but a forum is ........
a place, meeting, or medium where ideas and views on a particular issue can be exchanged.
It may pump up your sale, it may detract from your sale. A forum would be a good place to discuss the taxi priced in the ball park or slightly on the low side. A forum would be a bad place to discuss something you are asking 66% above common market value for. Maybe your's is worth this with no wear at all, every metal piece polished shiny then re grained, it may be a $5000. I am sorry for the confusion and good luck with your sale.

I thought a DE Star Wars was only worth 4k+ if it was signed by the cast.

Pretty sure that is a fake ad. Someone in the STL area is always screwing around with people and placing fake ads of pins at fair prices instead of the normally way over priced prices you see on CL in this area.

I wondered, seemed like a crazy good deal, almost too good to be true.

#125 4 years ago

has this sold yet.

#126 4 years ago

A friend of mine sold one for $3800 Canadian in average shape.
