I'd be more than interested if you were close. GLWS

This is great deal and a nice example of a fun cocktail pin. That shag carpet sets it off too. When I set mine up I will be copying the look.

It's a fun game. But I just could never justify shipping an $800 game... FYI, I had one years ago and put a Bally 3 chime box in it. Made a good game a fantastic one.

I've got the proper 4 chime box from an earlier Game Plan cocktail (Real) that will plug in instead of the soundboard the buyer can have with the machine.

Deciding to ship or not for me is more about how obtainable the game is. If its a rare or unique game or pristine example that I'm interested in I might entertain shipping even if the cost is double that of the game. If I have a good chance of finding the title local (3 hours travel) then I'd probably pass on shipping. Star Trip although not rare might be harder to come by then many. And as you say is a great cocktail pin.

I see them once or twice a year. It’s a cool game. And now that you mention it, I did mount 4 chimes in mine… were from a Bally Eight Ball. Very nice you have them already, chime parts are getting hard to find.

Rare game? I would never ship a Rare game. If you look at my history and such, I’ve always hovered around uncommon games. I always drive to get them. No reason for me to ship ever.

Plug in?
Did these Game Plan cocktails feature existing code to run chimes??? That’s kinda neat!

#10 1 year ago

They don’t need code. The existing signals were just transistors that used it’s grounds as triggers for the sound board’s tones. So, they are mostly plug and play. The sound boards make some not so great sounds so yeah, chimes are the way to go.

Craigslist buyer flaked out. Still available and open to offers.

#12 1 year ago

Lower price bump. Make me an offer, I want this machine out of my living room.

#13 1 year ago

Price drop $500.

#14 1 year ago

Dropped price to $350. Now you can buy and ship the game for less than $800.

What have I done wrong to sell this machine? Let me know.

#15 1 year ago

How in THEE hell has this not sold yet??

#16 1 year ago

No idea… I mean, it’s one of the few games I actually regret selling.

Bring it to the show this weekend and sell it there! I would imagine that you would get a buyer there for $350. If not free weekend entry!

Love to but I work weekends. I'm off on Mondays and Tuesdays.

SonOfaDiddly has bowed out for now, so the game is still available.

Man I’d totally throw it in my basement if it was halfway across the country bump

#22 1 year ago

If I lived there there'd have been a little cartoon smoke outline of me jumping in the car to get this game but the shipping is too stiff. Rellik is a great guy and this pin looks like a steal

Well technically it is halfway across the country, so you'll take it right? I'm kidding, I know you meant it wasn't halfway across the country.

Can you post pics of the chimes? Thanks

Sure!

Thanks, any chance you want to sell them separately?

Sorry, I've got a buyer that wants them with the machine. They are also the same chimes that Stern used in some of their machines.

Check out this thread for more info on the Stern chimes:
