Game - for sale

For sale: Star Trek: The Next generation Price just lowered

Added: 2021-07-14 15:33:47 UTC • Ended: July 15th, 2021
Condition: Fully restored (full original status)

Price

$ 34,999 (OBO)

Open for offers

Let me know what you want to pay. My obo price is 6200.

partial restoration, previous NIB,Possible prototype, currently HUO, rumored to have been owned by William Shatner, may or may not be diamond plated

Obviously I’m poking fun at the current state of pinball adds.

Will add more pics.

Would much rather trade for an A list game than take cash. Not sure id sell even for 5600. Prefer a trade.

See my reviews , I’ve never had a problem selling or buying a game.

If you're selling it, list a realistic price.

If you're auctioning it, go to Ebay.

#5 2 years ago

I’m not auctioning it ... I’m poking fun at pinball pricing .. have a wonderful day .

#6 2 years ago

Add clearly states 5600 obo .

You need to draw a line in the sand. Set a price you think is too high and then increase it by $1,000 (OBO) per hour until it sells!

Ha, I clicked on this thinking you were going to be another one of those buttheads trying to get stupid money for a game. Good way to get attention. Good luck

Quoted from RTS:

it clearly says 5600

#10 2 years ago

A little disappointed, I wanted to see what a $23,901STTNG looked like. Oh well, it probably looks like this one but owned by an insane person.

#11 2 years ago

If you have to explain three times you are making a joke, it probably isn't funny.

Why does everybody think they are funny?!

#12 2 years ago
Quoted from woody76:

it clearly says 5600

He added that after my post.

It was his response after being called out. He also edited the initial $18,000 price he listed.

#13 2 years ago

Clearly you got the joke you responded ..

#14 2 years ago

Needs more rust to qualify for a five digit price.

Or maybe some people have no sense of humor

Where's the Bird of Prey and isn't the Roman ship in the wrong location?

Roman ship ??
And your name is Trekkie1978 ?

Quoted from Trekkie1978:

The "Roman" ship goes over the flasher. Unfortunately I see no Klingon ship either.

#20 2 years ago

A lot of people have no humor
At these pin prices
It costs too much to b poor

Stupid spell check.

You guys should see the text messages I’m sending out. Shocked they haven’t put me in an institution by now. I swear, the phone hates me.

#22 2 years ago

A bit disappointed. I thought maybe this had real dilithium crystals and a working transporter.

#23 2 years ago

What's with all the STTNG for sale? Last month it was Star Trek Premiums.

I'm waiting for Bally Star Trek month.

#25 2 years ago

Needs more meaningless descriptions: “partial restoration,” “previous NIB,” “Possible prototype,” “currently HUO

Thanks i updated the add ..

#27 2 years ago

You had me at "previously NIB" and "currently HUO", and I must say, this is the first Marketplace ad I have seen in a while that gave me an honest, humor-induced laugh.

Normally it's just bemused chuckling and head-shaking at the chutzpah and ridiculousness of the (often inaugural) "I know what I have" ads that ask $50k for a Punchy the Clown or whatever, lol.

GLWS! No joking, if the game is at least as well-sorted as it appears, then $5600/A-list trade isn't out of line at all.

This could actually be a fantastic choice for someone looking to get their first pin; made during the B/W peak years and more "full-featured" than anything one can currently get NIB at this price, and of course the quality of the gameplay is practically legendary.

Another garbage seller generating clicks with “humorous” pricing. I had a feeling the last guy who did this a few weeks ago was going to encourage this kind of behavior, and I was right. Stay away from sellers like this. They screw with the average pricing and waste people’s time. I’d never trust a seller that resorts to silly gimmicks like this.

#29 2 years ago

You should open up a pinside store selling pitchforks and torches, you could pull in another couple grand on the sale.

#30 2 years ago

Silly ads get results. You are here reading this, right? so it must have worked on a few of you... my last silly ad found me a machine that I wanted and at a price that was reasonable. The shipping is killing me but thats the cost of doing long distance deals.

Funny.. mine came like that as well.. with the roman kind of hanging loose and mounted incorrectly.

Does have the domed phasers tho.. wish mine came with those...

Oh, lighten up!

"Silly gimmicks"?! For heaven's sake, pinball itself is nothing more than a "silly gimmick", and that is about as seriously as it should be taken in the grand scheme of things.

This place desperately needs some comic relief from time to time and it's good to see that not everyone has lost his/her sense of humor. I "got" the satire immediately upon opening the ad, and anything that triggers an unexpected laugh during the middle of my day is most certainly NOT wasting my time!

Oh, and a seller with an overt sense of humor who doesn't appear to take anything too seriously is exactly the type of person I would contact FIRST; the "serious" types are actually the ones more likely to give ME bad vibes, based upon past experience!

I'll second that, but for buyers also.

Kicked off the thread even after I said I was trying to add humor to a bad situation.

How many commenters didn’t read your ad? Price looks pretty good. I miss this game

Waiting for sale pending to pop up

#48 2 years ago

you can buy a great game at a good price, and maybe even have some fun picking it up. let's shit on it!

#49 2 years ago

Seems like the game is priced pretty fair although its hard to see game condition

#50 2 years ago

As soon as the Nigerian Prince wires me his lotto winnings, done for tax purposes, I'm a buyer!
All I had to provide him with was my bank routing number, account and mothers maiden name and last four of my social. Seems like a good deal, he approached me blindly from some strange email address. Nothing odd about it. He says I'll get half of his millions.

So, PM SENT, mark it sale pending!!
