Star Trek 25th Anniversary Data East Pinball machine from 1991
(no need to ask if I still have this machine, if you are reading the ad...I still have it)
This is a very hard game to find only 4400 made, the lowest production of any Star Trek pin ball machine ever made (production on ST Bally 1978 was 17k, Williams STTNG 12k, there were even more Stern ST 2013 made).
It has incredible Stereo Sound and a fantastic transporter effect on the back glass, very fun game play. A great addition to any Star Trek fans collection.
It is playable but has 3 issues that would fall in to the project category.
1. On the DMD display half of the top led line is out. (I think this is related to a resistor or the circuitry around that resistors)
2. The Playfield needs restored or replaced, it sucks.
3. On occasion does not read one of the balls in the trough, this is intremitant so I am thinking a switch might need to be looked at.
Other than the play field the game is in great shape and plays well. You honestly hardly notice the issue with the line in the display. Cabinet is in great condition. No smell. Wiring and mech under the playfield ultra clean.
I will not pretend the bad play field does not harm the value of the machine; but good...yet not perfect ones.... are being offered on eBay for $4000-$4500. With my asking price and a new playfield you will will have an incredible machine on your hand.
It needs a new set of rubbers of course and I think I counted a total 3 lights that need to be replaced.
CPR is taking order for replacement playfields that they will be offering.
So do the math $1595 + brand new playfield $799 = $2494... So you're machine will look like brand new for less than $2500. That is right the rarest Star Trek game ever made for $2500
Price is firm, No trading.
Respectfully, "firm" means I will only accept my asking price for this machine. I think it is well worth it, frankly because I would gladly pay this price for a machine in identical condition.
