For sale: Star Trek

Added: July 14th, 2020 Ended: July 16th, 2020
Condition: Fully shopped/refurbished

Item description

I have two so one has to go..

MPU has had the battery removed and remote rechargeable pack installed, 5101 and 6810 ram and sockets replaced, new rectifier board, new heavy duty Trifurcon terminals on rectifier board connector, solenoid board has had the capacitors replaced and ground modifications done, Comet LEDs throughout with a handful of incandescent in a few locations, resistors on sockets to keep from flickering, new coil or two, new PBR elastics and ball.

I would have installed NVRAM, favorite vendor is out.

Very reliable machine, well sorted out. All displays work well, no burn in. Has credit button on coin door. Very fast player, Mylar on the playfield covering some well done minor touch ups. Cabinet is very good condition, not faded all to hell. Backglass is VERY nice with one or two minor scrapes, no lifting or bubbling.

Comes with original plastics, new alternate plastics, manual and schematics.

Looking for the following Data East titles projects or non-projects: Checkpoint, Star Wars, Simpsons, Back to the Future, Last Action Hero and Playboy 35th.

Trade +/- cash depending on what you have to offer.

Thank you sir, I may have listed just right as there are several interested parties at or near the listed price. I think its worth more but have a surplus of pins at the moment and have another

I suspect it will be gone soon, was a great project to get back on its feet and learn about early Bally solid state. When I got it the backglass was shot, battery puking all over, rectifier board toast, GI circuit burnt, sound out, one flipper angry, several lamp drivers dead, etc.

Can't take credit for the coin door though aside from the decal, colsond3 put the polish on that before I twisted his arm and got him to deliver to Pintastic. It has one of his signature keychains!

Alot of nice pins available all over
the eastern states at very reasonable prices.
This is certainly one of them.
I'm a bit surprised it's still listed
what with that nice playfield.

For anyone on the fence, I have personally seen this machine over the weekend while picking up a machine for myself.
This Star Trek is better than described and well worth the asking price.
And Gary makes the transaction super easy.
Can honestly say "Buy with confidence"

Quite the deal! Would have jumped it if we had more space here... (That, and my wife is still acclimating to having even one pin here.) Lucky buyer, cheers!

Guy actually had one when he was a kid and his parents sold it one day, huge nostalgia buy for him!

Going to deliver and setup on Thursday.

Great to hear! Glad this game was given new life and the appreciation it rightfully deserves!

Oh she put up one hell of a fight along the way but great learning experience!

The second one will be sweet once I'm done tuning it up. New playfield, X-pin displays, all the good stuff. X-pin is sending a new module for the warp nacelles lighting and I'm tinkering with the idea of a sound trigger board to play music/effects.
