I saw the holes too but you beat me too the question already. I only clicked on it because I wanted to see what a $3300 Spectrum looked like and now I know. I'm putting a restored clear coated playfield into my game soon so I guess the sky is the limit......?

That's only because people don't want to take the time to understand it and they might have to actually THINK about what to shoot for next. Anything out of the normal scares people....., Orbitor one, Banzai Run, Rapid Fire, Blackwater 100,..........

Respectfully disagree. O1, BR, Rf, and Bl100 are great games! I've owned Spectrum for awhile though, and just couldn't dig it. I get the rules, just found it no fun. To each his own though!

Spectrum is a great game for those who don't mind thinking ... especially during gameplay. I can see why it didn't do well in the arcades bitd. Great game, imho.

Been owner of a Spectrum for a couple years now. It's definitely unique gameplay-wise and the art on this game is gorgeous. I probably wouldn't recommend w/ a smaller pin collection though - it's esoteric gameplay can also be it's detriment.

* I still don't think I've achieved that "super star bonus" on the game.
