I was gonna say the price is crazy due to condition but that price comes WITH a Kruzman playfield, new translite and plastic set??

That’s a great deal for someone not afraid to put in the work!
This is a good bundle. All pieces are there just needs a lot of love put into the restoration!

#3 3 years ago

Even with 400-600 dollar shipping this is still a good deal. Wish I had less projects, always really liked this title.

#4 3 years ago

Asking price is a steal... after 10 days for best offer? Probably not so much, but cheers for being transparent about an auction situation. Good luck this looks a killer project.

#5 3 years ago

Is it in us or cad? Asking since op is in cad. I'd be a buyer at 1250 cad, but not sure what is involved in shipping from the great white north.

#6 3 years ago

It's a 10 day auction, starting bid $1250.

I offer $1251 CDN and a ham sandwich

#7 3 years ago

I think some clarification is needed. Is it simply a nos pf you bought from Kruzman, or a nos pf cleared by Kruzman? Your ad isnt "clear" on this.

#8 3 years ago

So I guess Pinside auctions have started?

#9 3 years ago

The prototype playfields have differences with production. It will not be the same as it was. The best thing would be to compare with a prototype all original and see.
Same goes for the ROM, it is the Proto one?

GLWTS.

My guess is the rom is running production since the coil is unused and disconnected. If he is in usd I am out. New pf is probably prod as well so whoever makes it needs to find:
Someone to make the side art in the proto colors. Then you have a proto, without the proto pf, rom, no dome that most likely doesn't work due to the non proto rom, and it will have the proto style upper pf.

This reminds me of the wwf with taf style magnets, but no roms or the guy with the tmnt proto, but no roms.

What did the proto topper look like?

#16 3 years ago
Quoted from Blackbeard:

What did the proto topper look like?

I believe it was just a lamp dome (like what is on a F14 or Highspeed).

Good luck with your sale. If I was willing to take in an additional project and if it was local to me I would be your buyer. Many years ago NOS Space Station playfields were easy to come by. There was a Pinball Expo in the late 1980's or early 1990's that Williams brought out a big pallet of NOS Space Station playfields (along with Big Guns and maybe even F14 if I remember correctly) and sold them for $5 each. I bought a few of each back then.

#17 3 years ago

ok look like it not permit to have some can of auction .
game is now for sell at 1500 OBO for all ,,, I can put in a palette for free

#18 3 years ago

Is OP responding to PMs?

#19 3 years ago

so that's not a white wood you can see in a couple of the pics. the playfield appears to have been sanded down ?

I have got several emails concerning this pf. Yes I sold it to pierre like he said. I didnt not clear it.my notes say. "sweet space station, nos. No dimple)
I dont remember anything else.
good luck w sale

#22 3 years ago

I'm interested in hi-res playfield photos of the entire whitewood playfield, taken from the player's perspective, for use in a future issue of Pinball Magazine.

#23 3 years ago

This looks like a job for HEP!!!!

#24 3 years ago

If there are big differences in the proto playfield perhaps someone would like to get that one professionally restored or have a custom decal made to support the proto playfield layout?

So for clarification, when you say “I didn’t not clear it” does that mean it’s cleared? That Playfield sets the bar for this sale.

#27 3 years ago

My guess is it’s one of those playfields unloaded at a show years and years ago. It’s probably NOS with factory mylar.

Also, I’m curious if the playfield is dimpled, many of those sold sold at that show we’re not.

I hope the OP will chime in and answer the questions to clear this all up.

"sweet space station, nos. No dimple", Straight from Ron's mouth (keyboard)

Ha!
That pf sold so long ago, I had hair at the time. It was not cleared. I dont clear this title. I often have an issue with the clear causing a reaction with the leveler/primer, on top of the inserts. It looks like flat white bubbles of varying sizes. Anyway. This is all of the info I have on this pf.

It's not a true white wood, someone sanded it down

Side note, this proto has a kickback in the right outlane. Anyone notice any other differences?

Odd the price is now $1550, still an auction or not?

Explained in post 17 already.

Hope somebody dumps the prototype ROMs so people can add the prototype features to their games

Has the upper drop target, black mini playfield, topper lighting, different lights in the lamp board.
