Price reflects 100% working and in overall fair to good condition.

Specifics:

Playfield - light planking as to be expected, but not worn through anywhere. There are some places in the large center red area and a few places in the green near the "500 When Lit" where non-matching touchups were done. Circular key lines around most inserts are worn. Most of the inserts have some geometric distortion, but nothing more than that. Pops have the factory adhered mylar protection around them and the surrounding PF looks great. All plastics and topside mechanical gear is superb almost like new. Shooter lane is very very good - no black deposits at all. Arch wear is in-line with a game of this vintage. This PF would be an easy candidate for minor touchup and clear coat - it would absolutely look better than new.

BackGlass - The worst aspect of this Space Odyssey is the BG flaking along the lower edge. Along the ball count area, the blues have come off significantly. Good thing is this area is opaque blue and could be touched up. There has been touch-up done in the white areas around the scoring windows. Reds are all intact but have faded to pink. The flaking has been stabilized with TripleThick, so it will not progress from here. The glass is functional, looks OK from a distance but needs work or replacement.

Cabinet: Front and sides are typical for age. No major issues, other than edge wear and some scratches. The headbox has paint worn along the lower surfaces. The back panel of this cabinet has faired the worst, being made of particle board. It has more age/wear than the rest of the wood on this pin. Both of the rear leg threaded mount plates are being replaced with new "strip-proof" Williams plates. The legs are 31" and look good. Some light rust, no other issues.

Mech/Electrical: As I said, 100% good here! I have gone through most of the relays and fixed a few troublesome items to get this EM pin to where it is now. This is a 1976 late model EM pinball machine and has MANY neat features built into its design. It can be configured many ways and can reward either as Add-A-Ball or Add Credit. Too many features to list here!

Other - Remarkably, this pin has two fully functioning 25-cent coin acceptors in it. They do work! As set up now, I just tap the little coin switch inside the door to add credits and play. Playfield rubber all brand new from Marco.
