Quoted from too-many-pins:My first reaction when I saw a Skateball for $5000 was "someone is out of their mind"
gotta be honest... 5k is a great price.
The equation is pretty simple really... 5600+ for a new game with clearcoat issues, node board risks, unfinished code of unknown timing for finish (3+ years in some cases or left for dead), and no place to go but down in resale value...
OR
5k for a classic beauty that has none of those issues or risks, you know is built/restored to standards far above that of any NIB machine, and will likely be worth more if/when you sell.
