Skateball is THE quintessential 80's Bally shooter Pinball Machine. HIGHLY Sought after game! From the plunge, instead of a shooter lane, the ball whooshes across the playfield and the delicious flowy loopy surf-skate action begins!

Gameplay:
The shots are very fun, the zipper flipper is very well-placed for unique drop-target action. Rules are classic bonus-based strategy, complemented with a cash-out feature and many other fun twists! Upper right playfield lanes can be cycled by the player to help collect multipliers (a 'new' feature for this era). The inserts travel right-to-left, which keeps you on your toes. Art is fabulous, from the mirrored backbox, to detailed playfield. Its solid state peers featured rhythms which intensify throughout play. The spinner sound effect is automated to intensify based on the speed it is going, which is immensely fun! The backwards outlanes are delightfully frustrating, but the ball can be saved with some skillful nudging. Pops, multiple racks of drops, a saucer, and star rollovers are a lot to pack in one game, however it is strategically laid out to feel open, not claustrophobic. As Bally's first game to feature a 7-segment display, the player faces a big challenge to 9,999,990 it out! Surfs up!

-Brand New white and colored LED’s in backbox behind back glass has been installed for crisp, cleaner look.
-Brand New Playfield Rubbers.
-All playfield plastics were cleaned and polished.
-All playfield posts were cleaned so they look brand new.
-The playfield was cleaned and waxed.
-Brand New Ball Installed.
-All metal on the playfield and on exterior of the cabinet were cleaned and polished.
-Cabinet cleaned.

The 7 digit displays are nice and bright. The cabinet is solid and the typical markings on the exterior for its age. Cabinet has been touched up in places, and needs additional touchup. The upper right flipper is “off center”, and will eventually need a new metal flipper shaft. The playfield, and backglass are about flawless. No flaking or damage to art on backglass and no signs of wear on playfield.
