Looks a lot better. that purple one by the VUK is really out of place, but rest looks a million times better. Good work.
Thanks Capt. I may change that VUK Led as well. It just takes a little more time to replace that one (ramp needs to be removed).
Huge difference, looks good. I like the different colored 2x-5x donut inserts, I may try that on mine.
Quoted from Turboghia:Not on this era of DE, they are stapled. Wish they were like B/W games
Yeah, having just done a WABAC ramp swap on my The Adventures of Rocky and Bullwinkle and Friends, my impression is that DE didn't think about serviceability much at all when making its games. Stapled lights sucks, and it seems like more often than not you have to remove several major components to get access to whatever it is you're trying to work on. You'd think that operators would have let them hear about it, at least in terms of changing bulbs.
all system 11's are a nightmare as well. Ramps over ramps that you can't take off because one ramp crosses the other but covers the screw you need to get to, wires that snake around multiple ramps. They are a nightmare sometimes. No thoughts of being able to service or shop it out.
I’ve had a lot of interest at under $1700, but the $1700 is firm. I’m too far into it to let it go for less.

The truest of words. It's like they said "Hey, we have the tech to makes games look really complex. Lets stick ramps everywhere!" But then built the games the same way they did in the 70s. Then to add insult to injury, they don't give you a good way to access the back of the playfield, so you either have to remove every playfield connector and pull the whole thing out, or slide the playfield on the wood behind the pivot point--which doesn't always work because there's always some dumb lamp in the way.
I'd rather saw both my legs off with turn-of-the-century surgical equipment than have to change out the under the center ramp flasher on Earthshaker.
But I digress. Good luck on your sale, OP!

For what it's worth, and I wish you good luck with your sale, I sold mine a year or two ago in the same condition or better with full LED's for about $1,600. It took a while so be patient unless you are in a hurry.
Thanks. The parts just put me way over the expected cost. Just about all the boards being bad and needing work or replacement skyrocketed what I thought I was going to have in it. I’m going to lose money at $1700 but just can’t justify asking what I have into it. I have a few offers really close to my price but will hold firm at $1700.
Most would prefer LEDs in a machine they were going to buy, when in doubt just do Frosted white lights.
I like the way it’s turned out with the sporadic LED/incandescent combo, and I’m not putting another minute into the game.

Frosted warm white lights.
