Too much popcorn lately. Switching to kettle corn for this one.

Those are some expensive led’s

Did you not see that all blue LEDs are now $50 a bulb?! Pinball is just getting too damn expensive. If I can't ice out my machine what the hell is the point?

#8 3 years ago

i love new pinsiders.

#9 3 years ago

Favorite back glass of all time! Dude, you gotta get that green out of it. Warm or cool whites are in desperate need here.

Did you pay 6k for a project machine and then install rainbow LEDs in it?

#11 3 years ago

Why put $6500 into this machine if you planned on selling it??
Also, market value for a Silverball mania should have had some input if you were gonna put that much money into this game.

#12 3 years ago

he did match the leg paint color nicely.

#13 3 years ago

I have a feeling I'll be seeing this again in the "No rainbow puke club" thread.

This game is one of the hardest to sell. I have had many cheap ones fall in my lap over the years and by the time you shop them out and fix a few things you are pretty much screwed. It was all I could do to sell my last one for $750.

Dude I think you missed a zero, you must of meant 7500

#16 3 years ago

Thank goodness it’s OBO. :/

Quoted from MisterZ:

Have $6,500. In machine

If you put $6,500 in a Silverball Mania fixing it up and hoping to recoup some of your “investment” you’ve wasted about $6,000.

I don’t think it would even bring $3k if it were the last NiB SBM in existence.

It’s a fun game. That horseshoe shot is fun, the re-lightable ball saver is a cool feature.

Can we pay in dvds?

#19 3 years ago

At this point you should just learn to love it. Because it’s going to be around for a long time.

And for the love of god, put cool white frosted everywhere you thought you should put a colored led!

#20 3 years ago

I'm super confused. Why are you asking $6,000 for a restored Silverball Mania, but only $3,000 for a restored Paragon? Is there something I'm missing?

The Incredible Hulk Limited Edition is worth more.

#22 3 years ago

It has a Classic arcades overlay on it. The Classic Arcades SBM overlay has a very large & glaring color mistake on it, which makes it easy to spot.

$6500 in machine? Did someone charge $5k to install an overlay & stencil the cab? If so, I really need to increase what I charge to restore machines.

If you put normal LED/SMD's in it, get rid of the ridiculous legs... & assuming it has all new Alltek boards & fully restored underside of PF. (God only knows, since no pics) It's probably a $2200-$2400 game at that point.

Between the center and right pop bumpers?

Yep, supposed to be purple, not white. Every one of his SBM overlays has been like that.

Thanks for pointing that out! I wouldn't have noticed.

It may be overpriced, but you saying if it was new in box (assuming that what NiB means) it wouldn’t bring 3k? BS. You’re full of it!

#29 3 years ago

I think I got $2K for the one I restored. Damn, sure am kicking myself now.

Classic arcades overlays devalue a game as far as I'm concerned. Junk.

Yeah, that is definitely a deceptive description.
