Quoted from pinlink:Hard to pull the trigger on that when you can find them all day for 1k or less. Demand just isn't real high for this title.

It's not a Fathom or a Star Gazer but I think A NICE SBM will always have demand. It's a game that looks awesome polished up & fresh paint/PF etc. Great Backglass, & a lot going on art wise on the PF & Cab. I don't ever see them within a 300 mile driving distance of me going for under $1000, unless it is a non working project. In fact I don't recall ever seeing a SBM advertised under $1000 in any working condition in the last year. Other parts of the Country, I suppose... Around here a beat players quality will bring $1200 & they go up from there.
All that being said, there definitely is a point of diminishing returns it seems when you make a machine almost too nice for 99% of players..... I just finished about identical resto on a SMB as the above machine. Paid $500 for a non working pile of parts, that was missing some stuff... put $1200 in new parts in it & around 150 man hours....& it's probably only worth $1800. But it would have probably been worth $1600 if I had only spent half as much time & $ on parts... point of diminishing returns based on the lack of rarity of the machine more so than a lack of desirability IMO
GLWS The right buyer is out there... just have to find them & hope they are within driving distance. If that machine was in Ohio or NJ it probably would have sold by now.
