this is a new mod i was working on about a year and a half ago.
finally decided to finish this about 2 months ago.

after trying a lot of different things and designs it's finally ready. ** sorry no rgb with this design, maybe in the future, very tight space**

mod will fit on every games outhere, stern, williams, bally, data east...
** as of right now i'm focusing on stern and early williams **.

other versions for housing with sharp corners for williams, bally etc... will be available very soon.
even early ss games like playboy (bally) when i get to it.

mod is plug and play and comes with everything you need.
longer screws (1/4 inch longer)
1/4 inch rubber for the shooter tip (some game won't need it, like ac/dc or earlier games):
keep in mind because the housing will be a 1/4 inch away from the cabinet we need to get that 1/4 inch back to the shooter rod (skill shots), best way is to install a 1/4 rubber inside the shooter tip, included with the mod, i did the test, my beta testers also and it works fine.

splitter and additional wires going to the coin door board (spike) can be available for $5.00

it's definitely a great mod, hope you like it.

installation:

pretty straight forward, remove the 3 screws holding the shooter housing (no need to remove the shooter rod) and the 2 screws holding the metal plate inside the cabinet, slide the mod in place with the wires facing the cabinet.

pull the wires/plug inside the cabinet, re-install the metal plate and let the wires go down between the 2 screws (doesn't have to be very tight the 3 other screws will do the job).
put the 3 new screws holding the shooter housing.

connect the plug to the 12 volts plug just above the power switch in the front right corner of the machine (maybe you already have a splitter/splitter board) and you are done.

Awesome mod BOB ..the colour just doesn't come out in the picture…looks great on my walking dead ….i will be ordering a blue for star trek and a green for gilligans island…thanks again for all your work on making my games look so cool

I have the blue on my Avatar LE which has a chrome housing and a gold leaf shooter knob. All this combined with Bobs shooter housing light-up really adds some much needed color and flair to the otherwise drab and unlit front of the game. I play my games in a dark room so having some light on the front of my games is very important to me and this really fits the bill. I just wish I had chrome coin doors....WOW I bet that would look fantastic. Thanks Bob for a fantastic addition to my tricked out LE. Here are some dark room pictures of the mod and a couple of Bob's mod combined with my leg light-ups. This is so cool I'll be ordering 5 more of different colors for my Stern games.

what you have on all stern's game is one plug above the power switch, what i have on my machine is a splitter board from pinball life, this is great if you have a lot of mods. or a regular splitter will work.

i won't draw much power, the equivalent of 8 super leds and i'm generous.

Paul is that more UV aka purple? or just on the pic, and blue in person? Looking to do that to Met pro, which would look good in purple/uv or green.

It's just the picture, beautiful blue in person. Here's purple on BoP and can't wait to get the purple shooter housing for it too.

What games will yours go on? I have 6 long 12v led strips and 8, 6v strips and single bulbs on my T3 and haven't pop'd a fuse yet and will be adding another 12v when my shooter housing shows up. I have my leg light-ups on a 12v wall wort for the game.

MustangPaul - Are you selling the leg light up kits? I think blue or white shooter housing and leg light ups would look killer on Tron.
