Why isn't this in parts for sale? BTW: great lookin pf!!

I love this game enough that I would consider paying for this playfield, but apparently not enough that I'm willing to do a playfield swap, it sounds like way too much damn work. Someone who's not a lazy bum like me is going to have a killer Shadow though!

we have had a few requests on doing playfield swaps, and how much we would charge. We have done a few in the last few months. it pretty tough to price out a playfield swap considering you always need to add new parts, and repair unknowns as you are in the middle of the swap. I would say $1000 would be a fair number and would include all the parts, pop skirts, leds, coils where necessary, flipper rebuilds etc.. if anyone has a opinion on this I am open to suggestions on pricing.

Looks like a couple CFTBL pics snuck in there! I agree a playfield swap is tough to price and I wouldn't tackle it. That is the exact #(1K) I was quoted by a local tech for one.

That seems like a very fair price with parts, leds and rebuilds.

WAY TO CHEAP for a full PF swap, assuming you are putting in LEDs, new rubber, cleaning and rebuilding all mechs, etc...

How much time do you put into a full pf swap. When I am doing a swap I am also doing at least a partial restoration as I go. I think 100hrs is the minimum time I put in. I supposed if I was cranking then I could get it down to 50hrs, but I would have to cut corners and not be as thourough.

DMD games are less a pain than early ss, but still...

Track your time on your next swap, including all actual time spent (parts sourcing, cleaning, replacing, etc...) and let us know what it takes. I am very curious.

Was looking at a couple of games for sale from Rockland however Google is saying that the site is a security risk !
Has any one had any experiences with Rockland?
Thanks in advance

Parts sourcing on a Shadow? How much are you charging to browse Pinball Life or Marco's web site?

just pointing out that the TOTAL time put into it is what matters. You wuold be surprised how much time on top is spent just finding parts and compiling an order. In most cases I find that I have an order into no less than 5 places when redoing a game (marco, pblife, mad, PSPA, Curly, Cliffy, Comet, Titan, maybe some boards form Ks or big D or GPE). Each full swap and refurb will have some decent time spent finding the right parts, esp when it comes to game specific things.

we usually have most of the basic items in stock, pop rebuilds, sling mechs, flipper parts, and coil sleeves-coils.

I figure about 40 hours on a wpc 95, a few more on a wpc-89. I guess it depends on the machine. We can do a monster bash pretty fast as we have done quite a few.

We are about to do a scared stiff so I will keep a log of every hour and part, including decal job.

Pretty ironic since they charge us every month for google addwords...

I have purchased 2 games from Rockland Pinball in the last 4 months (TZ & MET) and was 100% completely satisfied with the whole experience and would purchase from them again. A complete pleasure to do business with them and would highly reccomend.

More than worth it to someone to pay that IMHO.
