in all fairness. Nobody is going to be able to produce a decal that matches that gray 100%. I've restored at least 30 shadows over the years, and there are about 10 shades of that gray. There is no way to make one that blends 100%.

yes, yes it is. Since i do the color matching for all these fields. I see the problems with stuff like this, that most won't understand. Same goes for people making touchup kits for playfields with premixed paint. It's all well and good, except impossible.
yes, it's hard to even match your own touchups if you run out. I never start touching up with a color that i'm running low on.
