in all fairness. Nobody is going to be able to produce a decal that matches that gray 100%. I've restored at least 30 shadows over the years, and there are about 10 shades of that gray. There is no way to make one that blends 100%.

He does mention he doesn’t need to sell it right away. It looks like someone put the wrong screws in under the playfield and they were too long and popped out on the topside.

Oh I definitely noted that in his description. He won't have to worry about it selling right away at that price.

yes, yes it is. Since i do the color matching for all these fields. I see the problems with stuff like this, that most won't understand. Same goes for people making touchup kits for playfields with premixed paint. It's all well and good, except impossible.

Was having a damaged door repainted on my Challenger few years ago. Paint guy was new at our dealership, young kid.

He painted the door off the car and when he assembled, the factory silver was off; a lot. He had to blend the entire dr side of the car. Took him 3 days of blending and masking. I felt his frustration. Experienced body guys were telling him it would only happen once, from now on he’d learnt to blend match the colors together, instead of mixing just enough for one piece at a time.

yes, it's hard to even match your own touchups if you run out. I never start touching up with a color that i'm running low on.
