Not sure your point, but if I don't like a particular game or theme as it came presented originally, which in this case I did, I would choose not to buy it than half ass it into something it's not.

And yes, I have had the game with both translites, and to me, the aftermarket one just does not fit.

Sorry, what I was trying to say is that the original translite and speaker panel suck just as much as the movie.

Awesome game though OP. If I didn’t already have one I’d buy yours, especially since you upgraded the art package GLWTS!

Then you might want to consider painting over your playfield and plastics and turning the sound off on yours if you think it is so bad.

Nah, the rest of the game is awesome! They just phoned it in that late Friday afternoon when they slapped that translite/speaker panel artwork together.

Did you ever play this game on location when it was new? Well I did in several, and I never heard anybody complain about it then. It fit with the program.

Again, I had one with the redo translite and it doesn't fit. And I have been contemplating getting another Shadow and it has to have the original translite. The guy that bought my last one insisted on that too.

I love you @o-din, and opinions may reasonably differ as to the original translite. But you have to admit that the original speaker sucks donkey balls. The bright teal lines are a high-school art class approximation of the cool art deco theme the rest of the game has going, the four little heads are awkwardly shoe-horned in and pretty obviously weren't meant for this purpose, and that text below the DMD is worst of all. Can't think of a worse speaker panel in all of pinball.

That said Shadow is the bomb, first game I bought and it'll be the last game I ever sell. And still a very solid value at this price point (including both the new and improved speaker panel and the old dog-shit one for those that don't like their games looking too pretty). Good luck with the sale, OP!

I don't know what odin's beef is with the alt translite (maybe the beef is with Aurich?). To say it doesn't fit the game is just...wrong. It fits perfectly with the color dmd and playfield.

Aurich translite is better in every way.

Not a fan of of this alt myself. You're getting a shadow, you gotta respect that smug ass Alec Baldwin pic; it's the tops.
Genesis of course which takes the crown for worst alt BG ever; total disgrace.
