Man, a Shadow for under $2k? Someone snatch this. Do the work to clean it up and you'll have a hell of a deal on a great game.

#4 8 years ago

PM sent

#5 8 years ago

Why so cheap? Gj to help lower prices though

#6 8 years ago

Wow to seeing this game at 2K. Maybe it will adjust the market on it some, lol. Wish I had room.

#7 8 years ago

Definitely a steal, aside from sanctum wear, this is a nice looking game!

#8 8 years ago

Damn, wish you were in Ohio. You have so many solid (fair) deals! GLWS.

#9 8 years ago

Cant wait to see the pics of what a 2k shadow looks like

#10 8 years ago

Cant believe no one at the open house bought this ?

#11 8 years ago

Did we go back in time? 2k sounds crazy cheap. Glws.

#12 8 years ago

Rob is a great seller! What a deal!

its price accordingly to the amount of work it needs, probably going to need a couple hundred in parts, and countless hours of cleaning and touching up sanctum area

#16 8 years ago

trying again

I think there is a problem with the uploding of pics right now. It was posted in another thread earlier. Robin has been made aware of it.

#19 8 years ago

Very fair price for a Shadow needing some love. Hope someone gets and enjoys this!

#20 8 years ago

Dont look to bad especially for 2k

#21 8 years ago

If that pin was closer I would have snagged it

Rob is great guy to deal with and his pricing is always dead on what a pin is worth. I just bought a TS for $2500 that was not to much better than this one.

#24 8 years ago

man rob with another great price

#25 8 years ago

Looks like a pretty good deal for someone who can do the sanctum wear repair themselves. It's not too hard. I did mine with minimal experience. Definitely a fun game. Good luck with the sale, OP.

#26 8 years ago

Got a PM that I was the first to message OP and said I will buy it. Looking forward to tearing it down, fixing the issues, repairing the sanctum area and playing the heck out of it.

Hope you get this Shadow... Rick.Your restore work is off the charts.

Thanks Stretch. Works out good because I have a trip to NJ coming up and will just add this stop.

Only played Shadow 10 times maybe and can't say it hooked me in, but seems like a game that the rules and shots need to be learned over 100 games. Everyone raves about it, so looking forward to hopefully agreeing and joining the club.

It's an excellent game. Really nothing else quite like it. No pops, upper flipper loop shot, and the ramp diverters mean that you can really work the ball fast all over the entire playfield.

#31 8 years ago

Plus I don't even mind Alec on the backglass. He'll fit right in next to Hasselhoff, and maybe I'll even add googly eyes to Alec also.

#32 8 years ago

It is a really great pin. Nothing compares especially with the nice price tag also.

#33 8 years ago

Shadow is just a killer game and an absolute steal at this price. Surprised this was not sold within a few hours of the post listing. One of my top 5 of all time.

I PMEd within 16 minutes of the posting. So that was pretty quick.

I think this pin was priced correctly/ well for the work that needs done.it has something on the apron, pretty bad sanctum wear, missing drop on upper playfield maybe, lots of metal that needs polished, dot matrix line out, legs, broken plastics, some nice cab scratches and some other things. Im sure it will need some other unknown things also they always do lol. So at 2 k I think it was right on and new owner will have to put a good bit of money and work to make it nice.

Was gonna get this for a project but im trading fo a much nicer one next week or two good luck rick sld be pretty nice when u r done

#38 8 years ago

right on bigd1979. I paid $2500 for mine with good sanctum, but very similar to this one. 90% of my plastics where broke or missing. Missing some toys, VERY dirty, had a few minor issues that I have fixed. My playfield is really good. I used treasure coves kit on it and it looks amazing now. All new plastics, Chestnut plated gun and wire forms, Aurich translite, back board mod, flipper rebuild kits, new yellow flippers with purple rubbers, new left and right mantis ramps, new rubbers, LED kit, new diverter arms. I am going to post some pics soon, but waiting until I go pickup my wire forms from Chestnut. He lives down the street from me which is nice. I was wanting some feedback, chrome legs, lockdown, and side rails, or powder coated black legs, lockdown, and side rails?

This game is one of the few (often lauded about on pinside) games that actually deserves the accolade and more. It's hard and it might turn some ppl off but after a while you learn to appreciate it, this game was designed, engineered and programmed by one guy, IMO a true pinball genius, the same guy behind MM...Brian Eddy.

Just spoke to Rob and Shadow is sold. Picking it up Thursday evening since we're going to NJ this weekend so I can officiate my cousin's wedding. Always a treat to turn an existing trip into a pinball experience.

There's nothing better for me then having a new game waiting to be picked up or delivered as soon as I get back from vacation.

My wife is away a few weeks in July, so that gives me all the time to finish a TFTC and then complete The Shadow. Been watching gameplay videos and am really excited to play it.
