Excellent Scared Stiff, excellent playfield, everything works, eye ball shooter and skull mod, some cabinet fade on front and right side. New coin door, legs, and new CPU board with static ROM (no batteries required.)

Ok, here I go:

How is SS a $7000 machine especially with some fade and no ColorDMD?

I haven't been watching the prices on them religiously, but last I checked these were $5800 to $6000. Not trying to start an uproar, I want to know if this game has really appreciated that much.

I've seen them sell in the 6500-6800 in very good condition consistently for quite a while. I don't think this is is ridiculous at all.

Pinside archive has the average price as $6010- $6990. Yesterday one sold in hours for $5500 and it had no display, the spider wasn't working, had cracked inserts, a cracked back plastic, an original cab that may be okay but it came with decals which tells you how good the cab must be. Plus you had to reassemble everything.

A HEP restore is marked here as sold for $13,500 (don't know if that's final price or not).

It seems with little threat of a remake, this title has quietly creeped up in price. I have met 3 people who happily paid 8G for a nice example which is hard to find. They made a lot of money on route and got beat up. Especially the Terrifying area and the scoops.

Yeah he won't have any problem getting that for it if he is patient. I have sold several of these that were slightly better condition for $7500.

I encourage anyone who is interested to go by and take a look. This is a nice SS. Mark is a great guy to deal with and has a killer collection, well worth your trip.
