Quoted from eggbert52:Spooky customer service IS horrendous. I supported of their first two games by buying them. I used to also be the biggest Spooky fan on the planet. Not anymore. Switch went out on the RZ ramp and Charlie said "easy fix." He sent the switch and it took the best pinball engineer in Tampa, FL 2 hours to fix it. Yea, easy fix my ass. Spooky just sells games that honestly aren't very good.
If you're not fixing your own stuff, did you know why it took that long? Just curious, as it seems odd to me to blame replacement of a broken switch (which you yourself say that Charlie replied to and sent the switch to you for) as a problem with the customer service. Serious question, did you expect Spooky would have sent the tech?
I will be spending a bunch of time doing some small fixes to my games tonight, including one from another company which shall remain nameless. The game has a switch that doesn't register regularly due to a bit of a design flaw. A fix was created for it.
I had to purchase the fix myself and will be installing the fix myself. And to be honest, I don't even think that this other company has bad customer service, but it sounds like Spooky is going to fix the issue for you...
