Item description

Rick and Morty Bloodsucker Edition #62

The game was bought for a location in St Louis. two days after placing it, the bar/restaurant locations were forced to close due to the pandemic. Since we are not sure how long the closure will last and the game is sitting there not being used, figure i might as well offer it up.

options include
inner art, plastic protectors, operator coin door, rgb speakers

Game is currently located in St Charles Missouri. We can arrange for you to pick the game up there, or I can bring it back to my house in Decatur Illinois

I would also take trades if your able to bring them to me,

You mean "flip it", right?

Quoted from Yoko2una:

sure, if you want to call it that. However, I bought a couple for routing, and have another coming this summer. And if anyone here would actually know me, they know that I buy every title that comes out and route it for three months then sell it. well, with this just sitting here, that sped up the timeframe. If it doesn't sell, thats fine, it will earn when the place opens back up. Also, this is the cheapest one out there that is available right now, and when I say available, im not saying about buying a spot. spots are selling for close to this and those people dont know when they would get it

Thanks @gryszzz And I hope I can put names to some of these guys, that way when they come up to play one of my games like my Krull at a show, ill tell them to go buy their own 50k game to try.

$12,000 is a fair price? Fair in what sense of the word “fair”, I’m curious...

mine is not panic, if it sells for the market price right now, fine, if it doesn't, fine. Now I know that a few will have to sell the games they have to pay bills, I understand that and wish them the best. Im lucky enough that im not in that category for the time being

$12000 isn’t too crazy. Full price of pin was probably $8500-9000. Its $3000 more and you can get it now. Isn’t spooky shut down? When will more be built? If you’re the type of person who can’t wait, I guess here’s you opportunity to own one.

do you see one cheaper than that available right now? there are some higher, but none lower currently

right, the game with options, spooky fang club membership, tax shipping, etc, your into it for 9k. Spooky will get held up just like everything else, so those that were expecting to get one in 6 months, might be 10-12 months, none of us know. but we do know that you can get this one today, so if your patient, wait your time, im fine with that, if your stuck at home and can afford it, great. and if neither applies, it will stay on location.

But the main thing is, DONT BE A DICK if its not for you, its not, and im fine with that

#16 8 days ago

Are you calling me a dick since I’m asking if $12,000 is a fair price for this? If so, you’re the one who’s gouging, you need some thicker skin then to be going down this road...

At 12k I don’t think they are in a hurry. Haha.

#18 8 days ago

Price is in line with everything else when you look at what the spots go for, plus the game itself.

I think people just aren't used to seeing the prices added up.

If you bought a couple for routing, why isn’t this going to location #2?

#20 8 days ago

I wish I had my Rick and Morty by now. Only new game I've been wanting for years. It'll be the next TronLE.

GLWS!

because all bars are closed, there is no location available at all right now

I wouldn't have even answered that dumb fuckin question jesus christ FIND ONE CHEAPER.

Indeed. Owner deposits rent is due soon. Good game or not, they will protect the purchase in this environment.

#24 8 days ago

Does the ‘Blood Suckers Edition’ refer to the options on the game or the $3000 markup?

$8k new. $12k for open box? Have any sold for this amount? Good luck.

R&M owners trying to pump this title into the next Big Lebowski.

i'll settle for the next TronLE. Didn't really like Lebowski when I played it.

I think a few have sold preorder spots for 4K+

#28 8 days ago

There have been spots that sold for a $3k markup. This isn’t even a spot. It’s an actual pin. This isn’t price gouging, it seems like it’s pretty close to market value at least based upon the spots that have sold.

People complaining are probably just mad they can’t buy this pin now for what the OP paid for it.

Or perhaps that their Stranger Things isn't experiencing the same markup.

#30 8 days ago

12,000 is a deal compared to what you would pay for a HUO r&m

Doest paying $3k for someone's spot include a $1500 paid deposit to Spooky? So, $6k balance left, plus shipping? That's $9k and change, including the flipper mark up.

If this guy sells his pin for $12k, and maybe one or two other guys, then I'd agree it's the going rate.

3k over the deposit amount. I’ve seen spots sell for even more than that over the deposit.

Who cares how much he asks? You don't like it, then move on to the next thread.

Holy shit, so many dicks on here...

No, they were LISTED for that.

Hah stranger things is experiencing quite the opposite. Ask me how I know.

#39 8 days ago

I think a few actually sold for those prices. Doesn't really matter though, it's between the buyer and seller.

No. $3k plus the deposit plus the pin. (So about $4500 for the spot)

Quoted from pinlink:

No, they were LISTED for that.

Check the sold listings. One just sold for like $4k plus. Another last month sold for $5k. Some higher numbers have sold for less.

The pinside mentality.

if you bought this game and decide (or have to sell it) you should sell it for what you paid or less, not what it’s market value is.

If you bought the game and decide (or have to sell it), you are “unrightfully” taking up someone’s spot who may have wanted the game?

Do I have that right?

As an operator, (like OP) we have a lot of money tied up in money making machines.. that can only make money in locations that are all closed, in a time when nobody wants to stand next to another person, or touch anything..

I say sell, and get what you can. Anyone that doesn’t understand that. Downvote away.

#42 8 days ago

So simple, buy it or don't. No one is forcing it on you. I wouldn't pay that but someone might. The reality is that there are probably sadly a number of the 750 that will have to be sold due to upcoming financial hardships. Only time will tell if price goes up or down on any game.

#43 8 days ago

Does it come with the pingulp cup holder?

#44 8 days ago

Estimated costs for this game = 8,270

45 - Fang club membership needed to order the game
1525 - Down payment for blood sucker edition
50 - to cover PayPal fees for deposit
5995 - Balance for game
35 - Plastic protectors
65 - Interior Graphics
45 - Knocker and Installation
95 - RGB speaker kit
50 - Bill acceptor coin door
40 - Coin box and lid
325 - Shipping

Not to mention they sold out in 4 hours, max will only make 750, deposits are being sold for 3k-5k for spots in the hundreds.. spooky recently announced that production will slow due to parts availability.

All of this to me points towards, the price is right. Market will tell.

#45 8 days ago

At this point anything is possible. We may not even see more in a month. We don't know.

#46 8 days ago
Quoted from vidgameseller:

And locations where you have games now. Aren't earning. Some expenses keep coming in, whether you have income or not.

Quoted from knockerlover:

spooky recently announced that production will slow due to parts availability.

I don't know if they are shut down or not. Some of their suppliers are. It will take some time to get rolling again.

As someone that sold their R&M spot SPECIFICALLY to play this exact game at Padavans I hope it does not sell and it stays right where it is until the bar opens again soon.

At least I got to play it before the bar shutdown.
