For sale: Quicksilver FT- Beatles, AFMR LE/SE

Added: November 15th, 2018 Ended: January 16th, 2019
Condition: Fully restored (full original status)

Item description

For anyone desperate for a super nice - some would say minty condition Quicksilver i have one for you. I wasn't really looking to sell, but since QS value keeps going up and up if i can flip it for a Beatles or AFMR SE/LE I will. I'm only interested in semi local deals to Boston but can deliver anywhere in a 10 hour drive. Pictures speak for themselves. Everything works flawlessly, Backglass is perfect. Cabinet is great shape. Recently fully restored including auto clear. it has a new alltek MPU and a new lamp board. All metal parts have been buffed, new Titan bands all around, etc... Is this a lot to ask for a QS? Hell yes, but if someone has to have one it will be tough to find one in better condition. Video of game is available (didn't know how to upload it to Pinside)

You know what?

He'll get it. Or close.

I wish I could get this lucky just once. Every game I sell shoots up in price after I sell it. Good luck with this.

In all fairness, Chuck put a ton of work into this game. I don't know if there's a buyer at $7500 but it is probably one of the nicest quicksilvers out there. I've played it a few times at league. It's got a crazy good clearcoat, competition bands tastefully accented, and everything works.

Very nice looking game, certainly doesn't hurt to try. I'm someone wants one bad enough you just never know.

Looks beautiful, good luck with sale!

$7500? NFW.

$5500? Probably.

$4500? Definitely. For the record I wouldn't sell my Quicksilver for $4500.

GLWS! It's a great game.

I'd say all involved here are "on the pipe", not "in the park".

Yep, for sure.
BUT... that seems to be where we are these days...

Love the look of the coin door. Gorgeous example.

To those who are doing the " " and whatnot, this isn't a first time poster spamming Pinside with some project for 10x its value. Chuck is a top notch guy and asset to the community who...
1) hosts league nights at his house with a wildly diverse and pristine collection.
2) puts pins in our NH club though he lives in MA.
3) lugs pins to our New England league finals so there are enough games, plus variety.

If you want a QS, your options are limited. There's a non-functional roached PF example for $5K, and this. The classifieds don't even have a history outside these two, and if you knew this seller, you'd know this description will be 100% accurate.

it was cleared about 6 months ago. there is a little crackling under the first layer of clear on a couple of the inserts (mostly the 6k). the top level of clear is smooth. there is also some minor color differences in the touchups.

Here's a link to the video of the game. btw- if someone doesn't like the LED look i'll be glad to put incandescents back in. Also the original drop targets will be included with the game they're still in pretty good shape, but when restoring it went with new ones instead (some people feel have a thing for original stern targets.

Original classic Stern drops perform better than the new ones, unfortunately. Of course, you can make some adjustments to your drop target mechs with the new ones, or just use the originals.
