One of a kind Prototype BSD for sale. Game was purchased from pfutz family and is in awesome shape. Since pickup, the game has been shopped with black rubber, led'd, metal cabinet protectors under legs, cliffys on holes, and the sound board was fixed by Coin-op cauldron. This game was in the freeplay hall at Expo 17. Lots of differences between this game and the production game.

Will partial trade for certain new sterns - JP Pro, GOTG, ??

Sweet! I've read on another thread that the calls outs are a tad different. Can you elaborate on this or better yet post a video ?

#3 5 years ago

What are the differences?

#4 5 years ago

Differences I’ve noticed are a lot of different artwork and insert differences. Not sure on the software differences.

#5 5 years ago
Quoted from pinlink:

What are the differences?

One difference is the production games came with white rubbers.

I couldn’t quite zoom in to see, but does it have a serial number?

I’m curious as I’ve got DH serial number 1 with a Bunch of differences from even a sample game. Not sure if my DH is a proto or what it actually should be called.

This game looks special. Might have to call the wife today, tell her I want to take her on a date.

GLWTS!

I just peeped the old thread of when you picked it up. Absolutely unique.

Cheers!

Great game, I like the wording on the inserts and this game is gorgeous. Played it at Expo last year.

If you double flip while it's in the Ayslum does it give you 50 million?

#12 5 years ago

5 million unless different code?

#13 5 years ago
Quoted from davjoszie:

Would depend on what software you're running. Not on the physical game itself..

Quoted from Coyote:

Ok then does this game have software that gives you the 50 million?

#15 5 years ago

It scores 5 mil on Ayslum. Not sure what you mean by double flipping

#16 5 years ago
Quoted from Chrizg:

Pressing both flipper buttons at the same time, when the ball is in the Asylum hole, awards an extra 5M in addition to the 5M for going in there. I think that's what he means by double flipping.

Quoted from schudel5:

Pressing both flipper buttons at the same time

Used this phrase as "double flipping".

#18 5 years ago

5 million extra on double flip

#19 5 years ago

Interesting thank you. I suppose they originally were going for a 25 million asylum and decided it was too much. Maybe it was then they decided to throw in the additional 5 million Easter egg. I am way too interested in this lol

Why was the coin door changed with a non Bally/Williams door?

#23 5 years ago

I have seen this style of door on B\W games before. It has the SN sticker on it so it came this way from factory

Yep, same door on my BSD.

#25 5 years ago

never thought in all these years id see a bsd sell for 7k! guess i can cross that off the bucket list!

#26 5 years ago

So this is game #0000 based on the X serial number sticker on the coin door? I would have thought the first game would be 0001.

Hey now!! If I hadn't already started restoring another one just like yours, I would be all over this.

I LOVE this game.

No. AFAIK, prototype decals like that were all '0000'. The game's actual number would be on the serial number decal on the back of the cabinet (or inside of it).

#30 5 years ago

Every SN sticker on the game is the same

Yeah, I learned something new. I’ve noticed a few B/W pins that have this door. I’ve recently picked up a one owner CV that has this style of door with matching numbers. Also picked up a TZ that has this style of door with matching numbers and been noticing this style door on several other B/W pins too.

It’s crazy the manufacturers used a lot of the same parts, I know that B/W and stern were even using the same boards as each other in the early SS days.

I guess I'm confused, what is different in this game than the standard. Looking at the pictures, it looks just like mine at home. It is in great condition, but not seeing any prototype differences other than the plastics (Keanu and Winnona) that a lot of us have on ours.

Has additional wording on the inserts that ( castle lock targets) and on the insrets for video mode. Proto plastics and I don't know anything else. Early software.

Gotcha. Not at home to directly compare at the moment.

Truly great piece of history here. Only thing I'd do to it are new ramp flaps, common on all stock Dracs till fixed I think. Especially the shooter ramp flap, if not cracked now it's just a matter of time. The original flap was not a good design choice.
