Up for sale is an extremely nice Popeye Saves the Earth pinball. I’m advertising it as HUO, but that is based off the condition and I personally can’t see how it could have been routed. It’s as nice as they come. I just gave it a thorough cleaning, replaced the rubber rings, installed leds throughout the entire playfield including the flashers, installed after burners in the pop bumpers, added blue super band sleeves, and red super band flipper rings. This is an export machine, but I don’t think it ever left the states. The goody bag is still in place and it also has all the original documents. I’m asking $3,500 or best offer.

Wow that's a stunning example. Makes me want to sell mine and buy yours... if I wasn't in the middle of restoring it. Those boat cleat tie downs on the apron are rare to have let alone be super shiny like that.

This will not last long. Nice pin!

It's definitely a re-import and not HUO.
This has a European coin slot on it that looks to be denominated in Finnish Markka.
I have a Guns N Roses with the same coin door that was re-imported from Finland.
That said it looks like a low play machine and is priced right.

Also, it looks like the machine was originally set up to run on 220 Volts (European Standard), I.E. built for export to Europe.

I mentioned this in the description that it was an export already, and I’m fully aware of what a reimport looks like. My money is on it being HUO though. I’ve had enough of these machines to know the difference. The condition is amazing. If it was on a route, it never got played.

There is nothing saying that a game made for export couldn't have ended up being sold to a home owner! I agree with seller that it would be hard to believe a machine this nice was anything other than HUO but either way that is about as clean as you will ever find. Good luck with your sale!

European game for sure, but more likely from France originally.

What I'm able to zoom from the photos, I think the coin slot label lists 1-5-10-20FR, which fits to the units of French currency franc of that time.

Wow! Stunning example. Shouldn't make a bit of difference reimport or not. Was a Popeye fan as a kid and always thought this was fun to play. GLWS
