Great game! Good luck with the sale.

Kinda interested in a Black Knight Premium, Cactus Canyon Continued. Other games interest me too. Just depends on condition of game.

Game is for sale but would consider trades plus cash:
Black Knight Sword of Rage
Alice Cooper’s Nightmare Castle
Cactus Canyon Continued
Frontier

Dropped price again.

I wish you the best of luck! But I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t a *little* glad to see the mania dying down a bit, and have prices come back to Earth

Summer time Doyle summer time. I would hold on and relist in the fall and get that 10.5-11 easy unless he wants to move asap.

Lots of new games will be out or announced by fall. No guarantees on anything anymore.

not really - I can guarantee no POTC will be announced to be released in the fall.

I was talking about the value of the pin. I think they will do another run of the LEs but not until next year.

#15 3 years ago

yeah - keep on thinking it will happen. I like that.

For a pin that has no confirmed plan to be rebuilt, except for thinkers....well, I rest my point. By the fall time, this pin will be 10.5 to 11 if not higher easy.

Easy.

So this is a slam dunk, easy bet - sounds like a guarantee? Nothing is guaranteed in pinball prices anymore. Nothing..

15k? More like 50k by the end of August. Maybe 100k in a couple of years. 10 years down the road all the LEs will be worth around 1 million dollars.

I’m skeptical - I guess time will tell right? But by fall there are a ton of new options available, and several of the games released the past few months will be for sale on the used market. The inflated (I.e. over-NIB) pricing of this game assumes that buyers are exclusively looking for this title. Maybe they are... The strength of this license will really be what keeps it strong. Anyway I’ll keep my eyes open!

#21 3 years ago

I think what separates this one from the rest is that as of now, no more will be made. There can be speculation and people thinking but then your in the Tron vault bucket.... See how well that's worked for how many years now? Going on 5?

Bottom line until that changes, if ever, that will keep this game at that range or higher during normal selling times.

Price lowered.

Nice deal!

I suspect this game would be long gone if shipping was an option.

I just don’t feel comfortable shipping a game. Have seen and heard nightmares.

not much to worry about in reality.

Put the obligation on the buyer to arrange, pay for, and deal with any issues.
Make them take the risk.

I have shipped 14? times now and one issue of concern that got taken care of with insurance.

depending on how you take payment, just ensure it clears fully before shipping.

IN the case of this dollar amount I would require personal check that fully clears before shipping.
If there are a known person they I would take other forms.

Keep in mind check clearing is not straightforward... As someone who owns a rental property, I know too well about this one.

I would go with Escrow or direct wire for a transaction of this amount. I wouldn't take a personal check, Paypal, or money order unless you know and trust the buyer.

Just want to second this.

Everybody is willing to post and share thier one horror story as if it happens everytime. I've shipped well over 40 pins via STI blanket wrap, door to door shipping and have yet had to make any insurance claims.

yes, you need to confirm with you bank about "full" clear.

Depending on where it comes from/ buyers bank it can be up to 21 days in my experience.
Typically 7 days.

Just talk with your bank.

I personally have never used any sort of escrow service and dont plan to.

This is basically the NIB shipped price.

#34 3 years ago

Tom is a great seller and a great person to deal with.

#35 3 years ago

Still looking for a local transaction. Not looking to ship at this time.

#36 3 years ago

Shipping is super easy and I actually prefer it to pickup.

Never use personal checks for this. Never.

Wire is the way to go.

I like to meet people. Help with the loading so it doesn’t get damaged. Make sure they are happy with what they are getting.

Had this been available (at this price) 3 weeks ago then it would be in my house

The POTC I sold was picked up Tuesday. Just wrap it well, buy two shipping blankets, and put cardboard over the legs.

Hmm. You don't remove the legs when you ship?

No for STI/beltmann no. They ship legs on all the time.

So many think this is ok till you get burned, bumped, and dumped.
There is a reason every pinball manufacturer puts them in a box, on a pallet, coin door towards sky.

If you can damage a pin on a pallet you can damage it with the legs on too. I dunno, horse a piece I guess. Pick your poison.

#46 3 years ago

POTC has to be the heaviest machine ever made. I'd be afraid to ship it w/ the legs on.

About the same weight as WOZ.

#48 3 years ago

I thought my POTC seemed heavier than my WOZ...

LTG?...can you chime in?

#49 3 years ago

Pirates is close to 400 pounds.

By the way, game was picked up and sold this morning.
