For a low production game that is supposed to be in demand there sure are a lot of them for sale

#3 3 years ago

Great seller. I have played this game and it is nice. Thought you were going to sell STLE?

#4 3 years ago

You can’t get 19 large for STLE .

Welcome to pinside!

What, maybe 20 have come up for sale since they hit the $20k mark? There's still ~980 people that aren't selling even at these prices.

If people are paying 20K for a pin it sounds like the demand is there. I don't have one but if I did I can promise you it would also be for sale.

This.

If it sells it sells. It’s a pin I never thought I’d sell but if the price is right...

If not then I’ll sell the STLE.

I’m not blaming the OP or anyone for selling. If I had one it would be on the market yesterday. I just don’t think this price is sustainable with how many are coming up for sale.

You can always list slugfest for 20k and see what happens

I agree completely. So if the price boat has sailed, it won't hurt my feelings if end up not selling POTC.

When the prices started going crazy, I was really thinking about selling. But then... I wouldn't have a POTC. and as much complaining as I do about the code not being finished (IT'S. NOT.) - and I do a LOT of complaining about that - I still wouldn't have the game. So this is a win-win. If it sells, the OP pockets a market-defined profit. If it doesn't sell, he still keeps an awesome game.

hell yea, in 2 seconds. If I had one I would sell it for $15k. No pin is worth this much and the code is not complete.

Where did you get 980? There are only 527 owners on pinside combined across all 3 models (se, le, and ce).

Any of my pins are for sale at double what I paid! Tell me which ones you want and I'll have em in the garage ready to roll.

Also, I think SlugFest is more fun than Pirates *ducks*

My wife made this exact same point, which is what prompted me to sell it.

Ha! Just clogging up this poor thread but if you've never played one with a few friends and some beers you're missing out!

I don't know anyone that has one.

PS - Added that I also have the disc silencer kit installed (a must have). Game has under 400 plays.

Eh? It's well documented that there were a total of 1,000 units built. 150 SE, 650 LE, 200 CE.

so another 473 owners who are not on pinside who probably have no idea that there are idiots on here willing to pay $20k plus for it.

My understanding is that pinside doesn't necessarily represent the majority of owners, so this tracks

Yeah, that could be part of it. There seems to be a lot of discussion about it on fb too, though. I'm guessing they will still be popping up for sale more frequently for a while and then eventually slow down to normal levels.

I understand that, but I was referring to his comments way up in the thread about 980 owners ("There's still ~980 people that aren't selling even at these prices."). If half of that is pinside then the other half probably do not know people are trying to get stupid money for them or they would be on here selling as well.

Or people that know but don't care too I would guess. You can use other games on a smaller scale even. I've had a few people ask to buy my Mousin Around this year. I could probably make 3x what I have into the game, but I would rather have the game than the money. I understand that 20K is different but for people in the market for this kind of stuff (one of which I am clearly not ha), the 10K profit or whatever to them is probably the same as 2K profit to me.

I'd take the money and run, but my guess is alot of people with this title don't "need" the money in the way I don't "need" 2K..if that makes sense?

#25 3 years ago

For us, we have some major household expenses coming up this year, so I have a solid use for the money. But yes otherwise if I had no need for the money I'd just keep it. But if it doesn't sell, I can sell my star trek LE to get what I need.

Yes. And I was agreeing(?)

#27 3 years ago

Decided I'm willing to ship, so long as buyer arranges and pays for shipping (pickup at my home) and insurance. Wire transfer payment. I have a lot of references, feel free to contact anyone I've done business with previously in my feedback. I'm happy to do facetime call, take any pics or video of the pin you'd like, etc. I have shipped many pins before (legs-on through Michelle B) and I always make sure there is extra wrapping, blankets, etc.
