I don’t know what’s going on in the US with this pin. You can find POTC LE for around 8000 / 9000 euros with really few plays in europe. I saw different ads for it recently and the ads even stay for a while meaning I’m not even sure of what was the real sale price.

Start looking for a reimport... stupid price for this pin which can go back in prod in anytime (with a new LE and improvements).
I think JJP got that this pin could be on the pipe and a great sell.

I can handle everything in these over priced ads except this. Please stop with the I am going to cry, I will need to be on anti-depressants for the next year, etc. etc. etc. Any pin, even this one, can be replaced when sold - there is thread on here dedicated to it. But those trying to get +$500, $1000, $5000 over market need to save us the pretend sob stories - it is very annoying.

Pretty sure the license is expired at this point so hopes of a remake are a very long shot. They'd have to renew the license with Disney again and I don't think that's a small feat. I'm not a lawyer though so who knows.

I used to think the same, but these days i'm not so sure. Disney and Depp have been on the outs for a while now... since right around the time that this game went out of production, actually. If they aren't currently interested in promoting the brand, or if any of the 22 actors doesn't want to sign over rights to their image again, JJPs hands are tied. There's probably more money to be made off of new titles in the pipeline anyway. Sure, it's still possible Pirates will be remade, but I wouldn't bet on it.

I have experience with this game on both sides and 17-17.5k is the price. May take 2-3 weeks to settle.

I sold mine for 10.5 on here and it was not instant. It had extras but it has issues we had to fix and replace. The game is a constant problem for people to keep going.

I have played it a bunch and just do not see the attraction game play wise. It is pretty I guess.

It's not happening at the prices it originally went out. If it were to be made again, expect SE at 12k+ and who knows what they'll strip to make it happen either. WoZ yellow brick road is a slap to the face of the original WoZ yet priced high on top of it.

Who in the world would buy a YBR? It is missing the coolest feature of the game.

I'm blown away with what people are paying for pins these days. I'm glad I've owned most older ones that I've wanted to and happy to have the collection I do at this time. I cldnt image paying what they are going for now. So many people that found the hobby the last few years and especially this year has driven the market to another level. I'd bet this potc sells especially with all the extras it comes with. They been selling for 15k pretty regularly and then a 17k + recently so I'm betting someone will make a deal on this one at some point. Plus extra playfield and radcals and the playfield on the game looks good.

20k would have gotten you a wrath of Olympus which failed to sell last i looked. This is just pure greed at pinsides finest.

I know the guy and he put the game up for that price because he’s trying to convince himself to sell the game. In other words he wants to keep it but if someone pays stupid money he’s going to sell it. The guy only has so much room in his game room and he wants new games. He’s played the hell out of it time to move on. I don’t disagree if you’re going to sell it then sell it but everyone has their own approach.

Personally I hope he gets it thereby establishing a new bench mark for that game. Everyone who owns them hopes he gets it!!!!

But keep in mind he has a set of radcals and exacta play field have to consider that into the price.

I have one and not tempted to sell for 15k to 17k... but if the price starts to get at 18 to 20 I’m selling.

If the game is remade it wont happen for years. JJP will be building gnr all year. Then there is the next game . Potc would have to be made on the second line and then a full crew of employees would have to be hired and trained.

And frankly I could give a shit. I read all sorts of justifications why people want stupid money for a game. My favorite is its an LE because I own it (on an early 90s DE). He wants to ask stupid money, he can hear what people actually think about it.

I'd be shocked if he gets anywhere close to $19.5K for this game....its basically a stock game with thousands of game plays. Its not like its in mint condition with all a bunch of nice mods...the rad cals, and spare play field are nice, but will most likely never be installed on this game as both are a pain in the ass to install. He would be better off selling them separately.

So, let's say the new "base price" of POTC LE is $17,000 (maybe a little low, but let's use it). Lior's one mod is worth $1-2k based on its scarcity and one sold on eBay for somewhere in that ballpark. Chest mod is still available I believe for ~300. Add Pinwoofer, map noise, + blades...
