Item description

We're selling our JJP Pirates of the Caribbean LE as it just seems to be too much game for our casual players. It has been on location here at Main Street Amusements in Lafayette IN for about 6 months and has racked up around 1700 plays in that time. 1700 mostly very short plays, as most of our customers are casual players and their ball times are short. This game is working perfectly with zero errors (ALL of the usual JJP out-of-the-box problems have been fixed). Cabinet and playfield look perfect. The only thing we added was Mylar protectors around the flipper buttons, other than that the game is stock.
If you know Main Street Amusements then you know that our games are meticulously maintained. We are only open 30 hours per week and when we are open I am always here. NO abuse of our game is tolerated. Typically we sell games that we purchased new when they have between 10,000 and 20,000 plays, and at that point they still look close to new. This game has far fewer plays. It gets roughly the same number of plays as any of our new Stern Pro games, but at nearly twice the cost it just makes more sense for us to replace it with a couple of new Sterns. It's an awesome game with deep rules and I considered keeping it for my home collection, but it's just not a great location game, at least for this location.
I can pallet the game for shipping but I would really prefer that the buyer would check it out in person first. Game is available for inspection at MSA during our regular business hours (7pm-11pm Sun-Fri, 5pm-11pm Sat) or message me to see it outside of our normal evening hours.

Better than 2 stern pros?? That’s debateable. That’s a topic for another day. I’ve seen a few sell for $10,000-11,000. Supply and demand.

#12 10 months ago

Gotta love the pumpers! We all do it.

I hear you and your response is not unexpected. I suggest you check the market though and see what these have been going for. The last guy who questioned me ate his words as a pirates just sold at 11k or so.

Don't hate the player hate the game....

Top of the bubble was at the second line, as it should be.

#16 10 months ago

Shouldn’t go by bubble anyways. They can be off.

Interesting read from an ops perspective.
Thanks for posting some of your stats and glws.

Crazy. I can't imagine a better suited/approachable game for casual players. It's not brutal, incredible music and callouts, easy to learn rules, awesome to shoot, tons of multiballs....

#23 10 months ago

Hasn't sold yet ?

#25 10 months ago

Exactly.
