For sale is an original Williams PinBot Skill Shot Vortex Ramp. Unlike the few reproduction pieces for sale on the internet, this piece is OEM and fits perfectly without any grinding or sanding. Also unlike reproductions, it is the original BRIGHT RED color with some translucency, not dark and opaque like the repros. Also unlike reproductions, this one comes with the DECALS already on it. Please read further..this is a repaired unit.

Virtually every used Vortex Ramp is broken at the very top...including this one! However, it has been repaired with 2-part epoxy and reinforced with thin metal. It is back to original appearance and working condition. Overall this ramp looks and works excellent, but please see the epoxy-metal repair in the photos (spiral of plastic at the center / top). This repair will be durable if the correct shooter rod spring is used. Generally they get broken from machines having too strong of a spring and this puts too much velocity into the pinball, smashing the top of the ramp.

This is a good value over reproduction pieces, if they can still be found, because it fits correctly, works great, and looks the way it is supposed to. I've seen reproduction pieces - most of them, where the ball cannot even make it to the top hole without getting stuck due to incorrect dimensions and warping. If you have a black spiral ramp in your PinBot as some people do, that's not the original PinBot piece - it is a part from a different pinball machine. Please send me questions if you have any.
